Mexico on Film Pt. 5 📸 The "give the kids a camera" collection

Late at the reception I was ambushed by a squadron of niños asking camera questions. So I taught them how to use my party camera and said "go take pics, have fun, holla if you need help, I'm gonna go get another mango margarita and dance."

Give the kids a camera and let them share their perspective. Especially if they have an eye for photography like these kids did!

10/10 photography assistants, 5 stars, would hire again.

Mexico on Film Pt. 4 📸 The B&W Collection

Playa del Carmen was the perfect place to adventure around town with the boys before heading to Tulum. One morning I grabbed my only roll of black and white film and went for a walk.

Color has always been a big part of my media work, so for the sake of creative growth I've been challenging myself to shoot in black and white.

Lighting, contrast, and composition are everything when you can't rely on color for expression. Enjoy some shots from my first ever roll of B&W film.

If you ever get the chance to spend a week in Mexico celebrating your friends' love, take it.

And bring a film camera or two.

Congrats Kerry and Hayden ♥️

Mexico on Film Pt. 3 📸 The Mr. and Mrs. Engeling collection. 🤵👰

I met Hayden about 20 years ago in junior high. We ended up having class after class together all through our years at San Marcos High School. We skipped jazz band together to get tacos, battled the urge to sleep during physics class, and got yelled at together quite a few times for fooling around before we went off to different universities.

I am proud and lucky to have kept this friendship the whole time.

I met Kerry one day just a few years ago when her and Hayden invited me to come watch F1 over breakfast. I quickly noticed how comfortable Hayden was around Kerry, and how loving and open hearted she is in general. Within thirty minutes I realized I was meeting the future Mrs Engeling.

It's a special thing when a couple knows they are the one for each other. It's even more special when everyone around can see it too.

Thank you both for inviting me to the only wedding to ever make me cry. Looking forward to more decades of friendship. Love y'all ♥️

Mexico on Film Pt. 2 📸 The "why I was so hungover on Sunday" collection.

Endurance pacing is required when you spend a whole week sipping on cerveza and tequila. Excuse me while I never drink again (until I do.)

This one goes out to the families, the friends, the groomsmen, the bridesmaids, the resort staff, and everybody who made the vibes immaculate.

Special thanks to @cengeling for saving my ass with a much needed post-wedding Liquid IV.

Mexico on 35mm Film 📸 Pt. 1

Went to Playa del Carmen and Tulum to celebrate the marriage of two of my favorite people. Took nearly 300 photos on two film cameras.

Traveling and partying with such a great group of people made for a special week. Thank you to all the new and old friends for all the lifelong memories.

Congrats @verry__kerry and @haydenengeling ♥️
