If you ever get the chance to spend a week in Mexico celebrating your friends' love, take it.

And bring a film camera or two.

Congrats Kerry and Hayden ♥️

First race in a decade. Won a medal! 🥈

Hi, my name is Bryan and I'm training for my first marathon! 🏃 It's been a bucket list item for years, and I'm stoked to be building up my body to endure the 2027 Austin Marathon next February.

This weekend I ran my first race since college, and turns out I still have some raw pace! However, my speed endurance needs some work ⬇️

🍺 @middletonbrewing 5K 🍺

Official Time: 26:40.6
Result: 🥈 P2, Male 30-39. 13th overall.

Mile 1: 7:58 (just a bit too fast 😅)
Mile 2: 9:09 (recovery + uphill 🥵)
Mile 3: 8:32 (weeeeee 🏃)
Final 0.15 Kick: 6:44/mi (I heard footsteps and decided I would rather pass out than be passed⚡)

Post-race beers: Delicious and plentiful. Crossvine IPA and Butcherbird Mosaic Lager. Great event!

Went out hot thinking I could hold under an 8 min/mile pace, but I'm just not there yet. More tempo runs, hills, intervals, and strength training will be on the agenda before my next 5k...

But with less than a year until ATX 26.2, consistently weekly MILEAGE is going to be the focus of my training. Long run posts coming, come run with me!

Follow me as I strive to be faster and stronger and better. 💪

Next race: I hear Roughhouse Brewing 5k does this route in reverse in September 👀

Film has complete changed the way I view photography. My entire career has been with very modern mirrorless cameras, giving me all the flexibility and tools I need to cover up my mistakes.

Film offers no such luxuries and forces me to take my time for each shot and really think about composition and lighting. It's making me better as a professional, but also prompting new artistic creativity with things like double exposures and colored flash.

Enjoying the journey with this little party camera, but definitely looking for a more manual camera to refine my exposure triangle skills.

My second Christmas Day pour of the day is none other than Middleton Brewings Butcherbird Mosaic Lager! I can confidently say this is the first pour of our most recent canning run! And it’s a beaut! Big shout out to my homie @pabloziii for this dope can art, all hand drawn! And of course, owner operator and Brewer of Middleton brewing @josephcalvin for brewing this amazing brew! I’m truly blessed to be a part of the Middleton brewing team! Merry Christmas, beer friends!

We're staying busy in our new space and hearing your own voice when scrolling Instagram is WEIRD.

Lottie work is progressing well, an Evora 400 popped in and out today, and a Mustang is being prepped for the Big Bend Open Road Race!

Comment horse gifs if you want to learn more about this unique Mustang 🐎
