Some highlights from a beautiful day at @vegancampout 💚🌱

Meeting big man @greenpartyzack, hanging with the @delilahbonofficial gang, catching diva @alissawhitegluz and @doylewolfgangvonfrankenstein, and of course devouring an array of the most delicious vegan street food you can imagine with @beckybaldwinbass 😍 taken in Vegan Camp Out by @gemma_dakesis

Hellbent for (p)leather! 🔥🔥🔥

BOA 26 was one of the all time greats. Wish everyday was a @bloodstockopenair day with Camp Civil 🫶🏻

Highlights - @m2tm_brum 26 winners @atarkaofficial and the triumphant return of our 25 winners @mantis_defeats_jaguar on the SOPHIE stage, much beloved old friends @sellswordmetal and @vanitasband, finally getting to see BODY COUNT(!!!), having a fully transcendent out of body experience at Leprous and of course our lords and saviours Judas Priest 🙏🏻

Lowlights - it was so hot during Castle Rat I thought I was actually going to fully combust. Please can the sun be turned down next time there was enough absolute fire on the stage without the need for the extra warmth 🔥 🔥 🔥 taken in Bloodstock Festival by @gemma_dakesis

What a privilege to bring heavy metal to @birmingham_mag with the @cotgb.uk team and support from @acm_uk, @laneyamplification and @capsaarx_studios

An insane amount of love and work went into this project from so many people, and it was my absolute pleasure to be a part of bringing together some of my favourite musicians across the Brum metal scene to pay homage to the legendary music of Ozzy Osbourne as we gather together to mark a year since his passing. 💜

There’s no better therapeutic experience for the broken, the beaten and the damned than TBP in full ❤️ I reckon I cried through the full spectrum of human emotion tonight, but came out feeling more optimistic and resilient than ever.

I have a lot of friends who just don’t get it, and that’s fine man, more for me, but MCR have pulled me through so much darkness in my life, they will always be such a special band in my heart.

This was show number 29, so we’re gonna have to make 30 something real special (and ideally in a colder month pls 🙏🏻 that was a hot one!!!) taken in Wembley Stadium by @gemma_dakesis

On top of the world, or at the very least on top of Wales!! We completed the summit, a gruelling 4 hours up, and a terrifying 2 hours down, and though we are clinging on for dear life in manic winds, for a brief moment in time this was the proudest, happiest most exciting moment of my life.

Climbed a bloody mountain my dudes!!!! 🪣 ✅ taken in Snowdon Summit by @gemma_dakesis

Another beautiful @m2tm_brum comes to a close, and we couldn’t be prouder of @atarkaofficial , who fought off some serious competition to secure the win last night, and have secured their most deserved place at @bloodstockopenair 2026!

I did quite a lot of big emotional thank yous on stage last night, but honestly it’s a massive group effort and so much love and friendship holds the whole thing together so thank you again to our crew, volunteers, judges, venue, every single band who took to the stage, and the wonderful Birmingham and midlands metal community who show out time and time again. Your support means the world to us!

A huge shout out to my absolute rock @adam_dakesis , who doesn’t get any of the spotlight, but deserves all the praise in the world for keeping everything working seamlessly behind the scenes over the past six months.

Now begins the countdown to the main event! Cannot wait to see Atarka dazzle on the Newblood stage - see you down the front!!! 🫶🏻🤘🏻🩵 taken in The Flapper by @gemma_dakesis

Tonight was an absolute dream, a sold out crowd, 5 phenomenal performances and so much love the room was about to burst at the seams!!

Thank you to @mystiekofficial, @vindictivebanduk, @denied_legacy and our 2025 winners the amazing @mantis_defeats_jaguar for putting on absolutely blinding performances. Our love and support will follow you all wherever you go. Also a shoutout to our past winners @namelessmusicuk and @kenseiband who came to prove that this is not really a competition, but a place for community where lifelong friendships and networks are made and kept.

Thank you all for being a part of this journey - congratulations once again to beloved Atarka on a dazzling, emotional and very deserved win- we cannot wait to see you on the New Blood stage at @bloodstockopenair ! BIRMINGHAM FOREVER 💜 taken in The Flapper by @gemma_dakesis
