I think I still have dust in curious places. 😂🏜️

Burning Man was a DREAM. ✨ I came back feeling more alive, inspired, and finally understand what all the hype is about.
Here are a few things I’m taking home with me, and hopefully back to the playa someday. 🏜️❤️
✨ Don’t overpack the outfits. Most of my cute fits ended up covered by a jacket, goggles, and scarf anyway. 😂 Test-run those outfits first…cute doesn’t always mean practical!
🌪️ Don’t underestimate the elements. I thought I had grit. I’m not afraid to get dirty. Boy, was I wrong. 😂 The dust humbled me REAL quick…somehow the dust storms were still fun.
😂 Nobody cares. We spend so much time worrying about how we look or what people think. Out there, people were just being themselves. And it was freeing.
🤝 People who share a passion can create AMAZING things. This was probably my fave part. I’m still mesmerized by the creativity, effort, and generosity of a community that comes together to make incredible things happen , just because they can. 🤯and free
🎁 Give without expecting something back. A meal, a drink, a helping hand, a conversation, a smile. There was so much generosity simply for the sake of giving.
🧡 Say yes to the unexpected. Some of my favorite moments were the ones I never planned.
🌵 You’re capable of more than you think. Sometimes you have to step WAY outside your comfort zone to realize just how much you can handle.
And maybe my biggest takeaway…
Sometimes you have to get completely out of your normal environment to remember who you are when nobody is telling you who you’re supposed to be.
I came home dusty, tired, and probably still finding playa in places I don’t want to talk about 😂… but also inspired, grateful, and a little more alive.
Burning Man, you were wild.
I’ll be back. 🏜️✨❤️

How bizarre. 🌀✨
I had such a unique experience at Burning Man, and I know it might sound silly, but I’m genuinely proud of myself for making it there.
For years, I’ve been the one getting everyone else ready for the Burn. I’ve helped so many people prepare their hair, and somewhere along the way, I started dreaming about experiencing it for myself.
It was some of the hardest, most intense, challenging, and interesting days I’ve ever had. And somehow… it was also perfect.
I didn’t go to Burning Man to become someone I’m not. I went to remember who I am.
Whenever I asked my clients what Burning Man was like, they would always say, “It’s indescribable.” And honestly, I thought they were full of it. 😂
Now I get it.
There are some experiences you can’t really explain. You just have to live them.
And I’m so grateful I finally did. 🤎🏜️🌀

Tuve una experiencia tan única en Burning Man y sé que puede sonar un poco tonto, pero sinceramente estoy muy orgullosa de haberlo logrado.
Durante años, he sido la que prepara a todos los demás para el Burn. He ayudado a tantas personas a preparar su cabello y, en algún momento del camino, empecé a soñar con vivir esta experiencia por mí misma.
Fueron unos de los días más difíciles, intensos, desafiantes e interesantes que he vivido. Y de alguna manera… también fueron perfectos.
No fui a Burning Man para convertirme en alguien que no soy. Fui para recordar quién soy.
Cada vez que les preguntaba a mis clientes cómo era Burning Man, siempre me decían: “Es indescriptible”. Y, sinceramente, yo pensaba que estaban exagerando. 😂
Ahora lo entiendo.
Hay experiencias que simplemente no se pueden explicar. Tienes que vivirlas.
Y estoy tan agradecida de haberlo hecho finalmente. 🤎🏜️🌀

Being 2 in 1996

What a long strange trip its been. I’m grateful for the woman I’m becoming, even if she’s still figuring it all out along the way. 🤎 This year has taught me about growth, motherhood, love, loss, resilience, and appreciating the little moments that I used to take for granted. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, proud of the life I’m building, and so thankful for the people who make it all worth it. 🥹✨Cheers to me. 🥂✨ More life, love, adventures, and hopefully… a little more sleep. 😂🤎

Oh Peter. 😔 i simply have no words. You came into our lives to teach us to be selfless and mentor us to be the best version of ourselves. All help aside you gave my mom so much love and peace and treated her like the queen she is. Youre the man who has broken my heart into trillion pieces. You were my hype man and never said no to any of my crazy ideas. You even made me believe i could become the next Adele after my drunken karaoke. I was looking forward to career day and to watch my kids learn to pilot with you. I was excited for our rv trip 2027, and just like that i feel robbed of our future with you. What do you mean youre not coming home? What do you mean i wont hear you quote Seinfeld? Or try your paellas? Please give us the strength to learn to live without you. Abuelo Peter te amamos tanto! I will continue to honor you and you better believe my kids will never forget what a special man you are. When i met you, you said you didnt like carrying babies, 3 babies later, you not only carried the kids, you spoiled them rotten and gave them anything they wanted. We even went on the hunt to find FL yummiest banana split. I want to close with my favorite quote by you. 4 Years seizure free! Posting for awareness, and to spread hope to all moms with medically needy kids. IS gets overlooked because the seizures are subtle and not traditional looking. My whole world crumbled when we got diagnosed cause the future didnt look so promising. We did an intense Keto diet, supplemented, with DHA, lions Mane, CBD, and fermented veggies, loads of therapy. Enzo is a smart and typical boy who loves to be a big brother. neurologist say that his development is so positive because we caught everything on time but I believe in my mom heart that where where we are because of all of his efforts to get up and try again, even if it’s difficult on the first try. To mom’s going through a tough diagnosis my DM is open and I wanna give a special shout out to. @romysworldppec for all the endless support to my family and I. Enzo my little warrior, keep on rocking a happy and healthy life. 🧠✨

Comparto nuestra historia para crear conciencia y llevar esperanza a todas las mamás con niños médicamente complejos. Los espasmos infantiles (IS) suelen pasar desapercibidos porque las convulsiones son sutiles y no se ven como las convulsiones tradicionales.
Mi mundo se derrumbó cuando recibimos el diagnóstico, porque el futuro no parecía muy prometedor. Hicimos una dieta cetogénica intensiva, complementamos con DHA, Lion’s Mane, CBD, vegetales fermentados y muchísimas terapias.
Hoy, Enzo es un niño inteligente y típico que ama ser hermano mayor. Los neurólogos dicen que su desarrollo ha sido tan positivo porque detectamos todo a tiempo, pero en mi corazón de mamá creo que hemos llegado hasta aquí gracias a todos sus esfuerzos por levantarse y volver a intentarlo, incluso cuando algo le resultaba difícil la primera vez.
A todas las mamás que están atravesando un diagnóstico difícil: mis mensajes están abiertos. 💙
Y quiero dar un agradecimiento muy especial a @romysworldppec por todo el apoyo incondicional que le ha brindado a mi familia y a mí durante este camino. A mi guerrero Enzo, que sigas teniendo una vida sana y feliz. 🧠✨

Happy Earth Day!!

Once I have my braids done, my confidence goes through the roof. Not to mention… I become my own walking advertisement 🌊☀️
They save me so much time. I can get the kids to school, show up to work, and even squeeze in a quick workout… all while looking and feeling good ✨
Postpartum has been a journey, but moments like this remind me of who I am beyond being a mom or a business owner…just Genesis, with goals, putting in the work and bringing her vision to life.
Strong, soft, and stepping back into myself… one braid at a time 🤍
And if you needed a sign to book the braids and take the trip, this is it 😉

Me ahorran muchísimo tiempo. Puedo llevar a los niños a la escuela, presentarme al trabajo y hasta ir al gym rápido… todo mientras me veo y me siento bien ✨
El posparto ha sido un proceso, pero momentos como este me recuerdan quién soy más allá de ser mamá o empresaria… solo Genesis, con metas, trabajando duro y haciendo realidad su visión.
Fuerte, suave y volviendo a mí misma… una trenza a la vez 🤍
