🎉🎉🎉 I am very, very, VERY excited to announce that 📖 IT’S HERE!🎉🎉🎉

My very first photobook - A Quest for Freedom Vol. 2 is now available for pre-order.

LINK IN BIO or visit mildabooks.com

All I need now is your support for printing it!

It all started with a question I couldn’t let go of - What happened to Klaidonis, the barge my relative James called home in Paris in the 1970s?

Chasing the answer led me into his archive, into the world of his partner, Diana, and eventually to Doris - the artist who owns the barge today.

It’s a family story, a love story, and a meditation on whether a floating home can still hold you steady.

About the book:
📖 Limited first edition of 200 copies, screen-printed and clothbound
🇱🇻 Launching in Riga this December
🔗 Pre-order now - link in BIO

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING AND SHARING! 🙏

After four years of working on our photobook "Motherland, far Beyond the Polar Circle" and embarking on this emotionally saturated journey to the Far North in Siberia on the railroad tracks of exile, we're excited to announce this Kickstarter campaign to make a book into the world! It's a deeply personal story but, at the same time, universal. We're nearly done with it and need an extra push to finish up production and post-production. We're trying to make it to £30,000! I can't believe we got to this point on almost no budget and how much we learned through the process of making and what it takes to make such a photo project into an object to the final stage. Thank you to everyone who has contributed or given some advice or encouragement in taking this step. So much love for you all!

ORIENTALx — Lisbon, through three different perspectives.

One year after our artistic residency with @procur.arte , we returned to Lisbon for the opening of ORIENTALx, bringing together the work of three photographers: @georgsavetisjans, @louisa.boeszoermeny and myself.

For my series, I explored a lesser-seen side of Lisbon through highly contrasted black-and-white photographs, portraying buildings in neighbourhoods often overlooked by the city's familiar image.

Because what we choose to look at — or leave outside the frame — shapes the way we see a city. For me, paying attention is a form of respect.

A beautiful moment of reunion and sharing!

Together with @procur.arte, we are pleased to invite you to the opening of the OrientaLx exhibition this Saturday, October 10, at 6:00 p.m., at Parque Ribeirinho Oriente in Lisbon.

OrientaLx uses photography as a starting point to observe and reflect on the city and its surroundings, creating a contemporary and diverse portrait of eastern Lisbon.

This exhibition results from an international artist residency held in 2025 as part of the Culture Moves Europe program, organised by @procur.arte. The residency brought together three photographers: @georgsavetisjans (Latvia), @louisa.boeszoermeny (Germany), and @sonia.hamza (France).

The exhibition is part of OS DIAS DE MARVILA, a festival organised by Biblioteca de Marvila, and the ERRAR photography conference, organised by @procur.arte in partnership with @fotografialusofona and @imagolisboa. Both events are supported by the Lisbon City Council and DGARTES.
