November 2022 - a frigid alpine highline adventure with @rafabridi @joaojuchem_ and @mianoblet after the premiere of Rafa's incredible short film "Walking on Clouds" at the Banff Mountain Film Festival. Although the day started at a balmy -20°C (-4°F), we couldn't have asked for better conditions. For a relatively unplanned excursion, everything came together very smoothly. Thanks to having two world-class athletes and good friends at the helm for making this another memorable mission.

Side note: I'm still working on being timely with photo edits. I sat on this set for quite a while, especially after not posting on IG for so long. During that time, I consumed more than I created and developed unhealthy notions about whether my photos were "good enough." That's the persistent inner battle we all have as artists and creatives. I've been re-reading the Artist's Way recently, and it has been helpful in navigating these thoughts and resetting the way I think. Highly recommend it to anyone in pursuit of an artistic endeavour.

I still can't believe that this image made it as a finalist in @redbullillume Masterpiece category. My partner @danibarker7 showed me the unveiled finalists while we are driving thru Montana towards Toronto. I am blown away by the caliber of the work from everyone, and it's truly an honour to be included amongst such immense talent. Congrats to @willsaundersphoto for snagging the win!

This image would not have been possible if not for the incredible amount of work put forth by @climbingxu @cdignes back in 2019, along with the generous help of the Getu Climbing Hostel, @sonyalpha @nolsedu and @americanalpine.
