POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Constellatory Joy This mural was created to amplify cross-cultural solidarity and collaboration, amplifying Indigenous voices and centering women in a neighborhood shaped by deep resilience.
Featuring three women as living representations of care, creativity, and survival, it stands in solidarity with missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people, offering both remembrance and hope.
At its heart, it tells a story of resistance, dignity, and collective belonging.
In one of the city’s most layered and contested areas, the placement is intentional, creating women-led visibility where stories are often erased.
The mural acts as a cultural anchor, asserting memory, presence, and community sovereignty in the public sphere.
The design references The Three Fates, a cross-cultural myth where women shape humanity’s destiny. Here, they embody Gastown’s layered history: colonial violence, Indigenous survivance, immigrant resilience, and artistic innovation.
The mural honors the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls March held annually in this neighborhood, embedding remembrance and care into its design.

Found these gems from a Bastille photoshoot while back, before Gerald did the big hair chop. And even though he refuses to play tennis with me, at least I can pretend in pictures. Love these shots by Nelson Mouellic 😍

BTS from an @eddiebauer shoot in Fernie, BC. We had a lean team - 1 photographer, 1 mountain guide, 1 tail guide, 2 models, 1 producer and 1 coordinator/ wardrobe/groomer/props (yup all the things!)! To get to our hero location we rode on 4x4 quads and then hiked another 60 min up the mountain. The crew took turns carrying the trail maintenance tools and everyone packed in their own snacks, lunch + water. Our models even carried their own wardrobe looks in their packs! It was an awesome day, real good vibes.

Thank you @islandlakelodge staff for the fabulous hospitality and for keeping us SAFE in the great outdoors! We 🧡 you!!! Can’t wait to do some catskiing on the next one🤞🏽 ❄️ 🐱 🏂 🎿
