We're thrilled to share that our Founder, Germaine Woon (@germainewoon_), has been named one of Campaign Asia-Pacific's (@campaign.asia) Women to Watch 2026!

Now in its 14th year, the list celebrates women across the region whose leadership and impact are shaping the future of marketing and communications. Germaine is one of 25 honourees from 12 markets, and one of just two from Hong Kong.

From building The Foundry Asia to championing the people and stories behind hospitality, Germaine's passion drives everything we do. Seeing the industry recognise it is a proud moment for all of us. Congratulations, Germaine!

Thank you to the Campaign Asia-Pacific team and jury, and congratulations to the whole class of 2026.

Thank you Campaign Brief Asia for sharing our next chapter. Our vision extends beyond the present, it is grounded in where we see @thefoundryasia five years from now.

There is a great deal of work ahead. But with a team specialising across every facet of hospitality, we are ready to keep building: strengthening our local offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok, while continuing to grow our presence across the region.

As always, stay tuned! ❤️ by @germainewoon_

🇸🇬Ever wondered what it would feel like to see your agency’s name on the wall? This was my first visit back to Singapore since moving to Bangkok, and seeing our name right in the heart of Keong Saik was an !!!! moment.

Three intense years of building the business in my former home and in the neighbourhood I first visited when I landed in Singapore back in 2022. Words can’t quite describe what it means to see how far we’ve come.

Our Singapore office has been buzzing with incredible clients, and I’m excited to see what the next chapter brings. Hit us up at @thefoundrysg ❤️ taken in The Working Capitol by @germainewoon_

There’s something about chefs who genuinely strive to be the best they can be while staying worldly curious. Chef Garima’s cooking stays true to her Indian roots, but if you’ve spent time with her, you’ll know she’s fun, edgy and incredibly humble. That personality permeates through her modern interpretation of Indian cuisine at @restaurant_gaa.

Take her durian dish, which boldly puts the fruit at the centre of a main course. Cooked in a tandoor, a traditional clay oven, it’s served with mango, chilli and kadhi, a curry made with yoghurt and chickpea flour. The thick texture of the fruit made rich by the cooking technique and subtle accents of durian was just gorgeous.

Or the atte ki khichri, inspired by tradition and her trip to Bihar, with tiny dumplings painstakingly rolled by hand to resemble grains of rice. Served with dal shorba, it’s comforting and seemingly simple, yet so considered.

Earning 2 MICHELIN stars takes more than creatively reinterpreting a cuisine as vast as India’s. It’s knowing how to marry unexpected flavours and textures together, giving each dish its own identity, taking some big risks while making every chapter of the menu feel part of one cohesive experience. And trust the process, the durian is well worth it.

Chef Garima has a very busy year ahead with two new openings in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Well deserved with all of her hard and talented work. taken in Gaa by @germainewoon_

I’m convinced @parkhyattkyoto might have the most photogenic terrace out there. Such a STUNNING property, with decades tradition and rich culture woven into its architecture and the beautiful hospitality.

I also had little hiking adventure on my first-ever trip to Kyoto, conveniently located next to the hotel (cue Wine Butler eye-roll)❤️ taken in Park Hyatt Kyoto / パーク ハイアット京都 by @germainewoon_

In collaboration with @restaurantnarisawa by @yoshihironarisawa, @iwa.sake , founded by Richard Geoffroy, former Dom Pérignon chef de cave, @ParkHyattKyoto by Chef Tsuyoshi Iryo, and Kyoyamato by Chef Mitsuo Nakajima, whose seventh-generation owner carries forward a 150-year-old establishment, the exclusive dinner was a beautifully synchronised experience celebrating the Harvest Moon amongst a stunning backdrop at @parkhyattkyoto.

A wonderful experience, with such precision and deep respect for culture, produce and craft. To me, Japanese hospitality is a testament to staying true to one’s convictions, expressed in even the smallest minuscule of details.

Also chef Narisawa always feeds me my favourite dishes and I enjoyed a very lovely company with @singaporefoodbutler @edo_kobayashi so I’m very much the lucky one❤️ taken in Park Hyatt Tokyo - パーク ハイアット 東京 by @germainewoon_

More of this and to almost a decade of being feral friends from HK to now BKK❤️

(But also I strategically avoided tequila shots for 4 years in Singapore and the girls have somehow gotten me back into it everyweek) Audio has been muted out for many many reasons. #feralfriday taken in The NORM Bangkok by @germainewoon_

iPhone “Moments” reminded me that this photo was taken three years ago at @basehallhk, a year after I left Hong Kong when I first presented the idea behind @thefoundryasia on stage as a team of one person alongside some of Hong Kong and Singapore’s female entrepreneurial powerhouses, to more than 80 people who braved a Typhoon 8 storm to be there.

I’ve been shouting from the rooftops about our third anniversary because so much life has happened within those three years. The work has carried me from my home, Hong Kong, to my former home Singapore, and now to my new home in Bangkok. Through it all, the work, and my love for what we do and the most amazing friends I’ve met along the way, has been deeply healing.

As we officially broke the news of our new office in Bangkok (our company is officially registered!), the process was definitely not one for the faint hearted. To enter Bangkok was an easy choice for us. We’ve been operating in and out of the city for the last few years, met some amazing operators, media and industry peers that were so supportive that it took me 5 minutes to message @kzvctrn that I wanted to open a new physical office (gave her a proper heart attack in the process).

Saying you want to open an office is easy, actually legitimising your business in an entirely new culture and system and going though the actual paperwork and finances is hard and unexpected… but 6 months later, here we are.

I genuinely have to thank our friends @wbangkok, Marriott Intl and @restaurant_gaa who has been nothing but encouraging and hiring us when we contemplated on coming in.

What makes me even more excited is having more cultures in the fold across our APAC team of 14. The new office is definitely a popular choice for our staff in HK and SG to work abroad and hopefully we can continue providing experiences at all levels to enrich their skills and passion.

Bangkok will officially serve as a third physical market where we can better service our local and regional clientele, in addition to our Hong Kong and Singapore offices.

We have a lot of work to do. And I’m genuinely so excited for our new venture. Happy 3 years to what I consider a life’s work @thefoundryasia @thefoundrysg @thefoundrybkk ❤️ taken in Bangkok, Thailand by @germainewoon_
