Being Miss Connecticut and having the opportunity to wear my state across my heart has fulfilled me beyond what words can explain. It’s been a journey of growth, love, and connection, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. To date, I’ve lent my platform as Miss Connecticut and The Grace Collective to $3 million raised, spanning a variety of initiatives. I’ve added $1 million to the figure I presented at Miss America by strategically aligning myself and TGC with initiatives that resonate deeply with our mission. These efforts have supported causes that redefine the way we think about health by demonstrating how social and emotional factors combined with our lifestyle help build confidence in our ability to flourish. With TGC’s four main pillars—health, education, advocacy, and lifestyle (HEAL)—we have shown that dedication and collaboration can make a significant impact. The memories and experiences I’ve gained throughout this journey are priceless, and I am forever grateful for the honor of representing my beautiful state.

We will crown our 95th Anniversary Miss Connecticut on June 22nd at the conclusion of our final show at 7pm at the @ridgefieldplayhouse 🤍✨

Connecticut, there is no greater honor than being able to represent all of you. I’m at a loss for words and filled with gratitude and excitement for what this year holds.

Sylvi, there’s no privilege greater than being your successor and the successor of all Forevers - you each hold a very special place in my heart and I am so humbled to wear the sash and crown worn by so many incredible women.

I look forward to paving the way for the Miss Connecticuts to follow. ❤️

Mama, Happy first heavenly Mother’s Day 🤍 Today I graduated with my Masters of Business Administration in Finance and was acknowledged with a Dean’s Leadership Award - you always taught me to be a leader, not a follower! I know you’re beaming down today and always. You made me promise I wouldn’t give up on my degree despite your fight against cancer and I didn’t. This one’s for you cutie mama 🤍 WE did it!

Nikki, since fifth grade you’ve always been here for me especially when my mom couldn’t be, when we went away to dance competitions all over the map and she had to work, YOU were there cheering me on and today was no different. I love you endlessly and am forever grateful for you, your support, and endless love.

Billy, almost four years together and a lifetime to go - you are truly my biggest supporter and have shown me such love and compassion. So much gratitude for July 💛

Filmed a video for the @rhone x @endocarefund partnership for our Move With Purpose event!

Watched the Wednesday night regatta with a good friend 🫶🏼

Shopped local @westportfarmersmarket for all the beautiful, seasonal produce 🫐🍅

Went back to @oceanhouseri for our anniversary and arrived to a beautiful bouquet of hydrangeas from our dear friend 🩵

Anniversary dinner at Coast @oceanhouseri and re-wore my beautiful vintage Chanel from @saranicolevintage that I wore for my second look for our wedding!

Four years since my mom’s passing, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that grief doesn’t get lighter—you simply become stronger at carrying it. The ache of losing someone you love so deeply never truly goes away, but I’ve learned to navigate it with the love and support of the incredible village that has carried me through.

My mom was my person. My biggest (and loudest) cheerleader, my safest place, and my greatest source of comfort. She gave the warmest hugs, the wisest advice, had the best sense of humor (iykyk) and loved so completely and unconditionally. She sacrificed so much and worked so hard so that I could chase every dream, and she welcomed everyone around me with so much love that many of my friends knew her simply as “Mom” or “Mama Joyce.”

Today, she is my angel in Heaven, my guiding light, and the reason I strive to live with purpose. So much of who I am is because of everything she poured into me. Her kindness, resilience, and unwavering commitment to serving others continue to shape the way I move through this world, and I hope to honor her legacy in all that I do.

27 years with her could never have been enough, and I know I’ll always wish for just one more conversation, one more hug, one more “I love you.” But more than anything, I feel incredibly grateful that I was lucky enough to be her daughter.
