What a spectacular model!!!
The proportions are perfect, and the stripes work very well -
From the moment I saw it I knew I had to fold it! The 22.5 structure was fun to collapse, and figuring out the stripes was also fun - but the tail was so difficult! And I really broke my head trying to figure out the legs! I couldn't have done it without the help of @bodo_ori and @gyosh_ .

This might be my favorite Kanokoya model, I folded it for @tamartaaa 's birthday and I couldn't be happier with the result!

What a crazy journey!
I've wanted to fold this model for a long time, and after watching Kimiro's video a thousand times, I decided to go for it!

Even making the paper was very difficult - I had to treat it on the floor outside of my apartment, because I didn't have an appropriate spot inside.

Lots of creases and an intense collapse later, an amazing base emerged, and though difficult, it was pretty fun to shape! But it took a lot of time.

Overall I'm happy with it!

Whale - shaped from Winston Lee's White Tip Shark
50cm dyed Xuan

My fold for OBB Comp 11! I didn't want to submit a regular shark, so I messed with it until I settled on this whale. The proportions aren't perfect, but I still like the end result!

What a model!
Ever since I first saw it around two years ago, I wanted to fold it - I tried a test fold a while back and then forgot about it for a while. Finally I came around to it! The crease pattern isn't complete with all the details, but luckily Junhyuk helped me privately with all the unclear parts.

I love the proportions here, and all the smaller details. Really cool model!

"Mr. Cat" - shaped from Boice's Looking Beyond base
Folded from 68cm wenzhou+tissue

This was folded for Origami-Dan's shaping contest - the original model is a human base that's only slightly annoying to collapse. My first vision was to turn it into Michaelangelo's Dying Slave, but that didn't work out (skill issue). When messing with the face I thought it looked like a cat, and the rest flowed from there!

I had fun figuring out the color change and the small details, like the little origami hat, and the buttons on the suit. Lots of people told me it didn't look like a cat, but I tried my best😅 Overall I'm pretty happy with it!

This model took me too much time! Partly because it has... 22 legs??? And partly because I procrastinated finishing it for a few months... Lately my folding is not that productive, always starting new projects instead of finishing old ones.

Do you empathize with that? I hope I'll get into a new groove soon.

After I saw @fangzhou0306 fold it from this size, I felt compelled to try it too! Some parts were challenging, but overall it wasn't too bad. I think it looks okay, even though I couldn't shape the body properly. Not like you can notice unless you look really closely😅

Folded for OBB Comp IX

Cool model! I tried to turn it into a Sinosauropteryx (my favorite dinosaur), but then I remembered that it doesn't have wings, and the end result looked nothing like it anyway😅

But I ended up with a cute dragon! I tried to shape some feathered wings and chest feathers, I think it turned out nice! Thanks to Boice and all the judges for holding this fun competition!

Very fun fold! It was nice to take a break from the super difficult projects I'm working on and chill with this cute insect. I folded it for @tamaratoobool ❤️

I will note that the second image is edited, but it does glow similarly irl - I painted the bottom with a glow in the dark acrylic, and it's tricky to capture in photos.

After @azazeliel gave me this small cabbage paper sheet at Lyon, I wanted to find the most complex insect to fold from it! It's pretty and folded great, and was thin enough even at this small size. Now I want to get some bigger sheets!

Scariest model ever!

This creepy crawly captured my attention from the first moment I saw it - I had to fold it! I waited until I was proficient enough with box-pleating and then went for it. It was quite difficult, but I got there!

Folding with single tissue was a challenge, but it was fun to shape, getting those legs as thin as possible.

Crazy model! I had the chance to test-fold the diagrams for it a few months back, and although difficult, they brought me to the complex base of this crab! I'm a big fan of the spikes and small details.

If I knew I'd like it so much, I'd have used a nicer paper😅 But it still looks good.
