❄️🌊🌸 The OisF’s East Coast Cold Water Challenger: Doug Bard ❄️🌊🌸

In this challenge, we set out to shine a spotlight on our community’s treasured water people, and Doug Bard is one of them! A welcoming presence and a familiar, friendly face in the lineup (especially in the winter) is so sacred to the spirit and culture of our surf community; in and out of the water, Doug has become our unofficial, local ambassador for kindness.

As the front man of @the_wave_tape, Doug uses his platform as a vehicle for goodness. Whether he is volunteering his time, or donating a portion of his @the_wave_tape sales to organizations like @surfershealing , @fulfill_nj , @marysplacebythesea - Doug is an ocean-inspired inventor, a dedicated family man, a consistent surfer and a relentless giver. As we enter into the home stretch of “The OisF’s East Coast Cold Water Challenge,” we would like to acknowledge, celebrate and thank people like @thegooddaysurfer/ #thetapedude for all the ways you represent what it means to #bearipple. 🤙🏽🌊🌸❄️

One last batch and I’ve hit my posting quota for the next 2 years😂😂. Asu the first morning - no sunscreen or rash guard, on a borrowed board and in borrowed trunks - tnx Michael for the 6’6 and Doctor for the baggies - a little big but comfortable and apologies to anyone who bore witness to my ass crack which was constantly on display. Next - Chubby guy-small barrel sequence -Tigers Claw. Passing on the bomb - big Wednesday at Asu. Random revelry and tomfoolery. Once again -
