The beloved California eagle, Jackie, is receiving life-saving care at @ojairaptorcenter. She’s getting the best possible care there is. But money helps. If you are even a casual bird appreciator, think about donating today to the center so they can continue saving raptors’ lives day in and day out.

*Ojai Raptor Center did not ask me to post this. I’m posting on my own volition

*photo is of Dallas eagle Nora in the winter (taken by me). Would be amazing to get to Big Bear Valley and see their eagle family. But for now, enjoy our Dallas ambassador and send Jackie good vibes!!!!!!!!!!! taken in Ojai Raptor Center by @gram_ktf

Exploring LGBTQIA+ love poems in the Ploughshares archive and drawing from our June 26th Celebration of Love reading (available to watch on PS), Senior Reader Kit Freeman’s PS essay emphasizes the importance of queer ancestry and queer visibility in contemporary literary journals.

Queerness is plural, Freeman posits, “both fierce and tender, both bold and subtle.” Freeman takes readers through an archival retrospective with a fresh, contemporary approach. Read the essay at the link in bio. by @gram_ktf
