Please read carefully before registering.

Gempen Grinder is for everyone but may not be suitable for riders who dislike real gravel, human-sized events, properly supported racing, questionable dancing and remaining at the venue long after their activity has uploaded.

There are easier ways to collect a medal.

There are more expensive places to display a bicycle.

There are much bigger events where nobody will notice you arrived.

Unfortunately, we are trying to build the gravel race we would most regret missing.

The spirit of gravel calls this island 🏝️ home.
You might not know it but Schotter Island is what happens when alley cat races and unbound had a porta potty baby. We will be back but you will need to stay close to get the invite. taken in The Rhine by @granfondist

In a world of mass marketed events we sometimes forget what this sport is really about, Schotter Island goes against that stream.

The recipe is simple: 105km full gas Gravel or whatever we throw under your wheels along the Rhine on a mostly car free island. Full gas dogfight or just enjoying the gravel and cool down in the Rhine. A fantastic grill party and chatting up over a drink about how awful the jungle was, the memories we made are the trophies we all take home.

SCHOTTER ISLAND - LINK IN BIO

Unsactioned gravel racing on an abandoned island in the Rhine. Some of the most brutal sections but also some of the most midwest fast rolling gravel you will find in Europe. Try to be prepared, you can’t!
