The evening brought together pioneers from fashion, media, and beyond. Sparking conversations while reminding all of us that textiles touch our bodies as deeply as the food we eat.

Stepping into the radiant world of Kilentar☀️whose latest collection, a love letter to “slow fashion”, is entirely handwoven by skilled West African artisans using natural fibres and dyes.

Each piece tells a story of heritage, patience, and the profound connection between maker and wearer. Using techniques that stand the test of time and transcend trends.

Kilentar doesn’t just create clothing; they platform craft and cultural talent. By planning ahead and embracing the longer lead times deserving of handcraft, they honour thoughtful, intentional making.

The morning began with a golden-hour breakfast, followed by a hand-weaving workshop showing the heart, time, and devotion behind a process almost as old as humanity itself.

This event was a lesson in emotional craftsmanship, proving that the truest luxury is time and proper human touch.

Congratulations to @heyitsmeitschi and @michelleta_ for organising such a beautiful and eye-opening event.

Yesterday, stepping into a parallel universe, of the worlds first carbon negative diamonds, by Sky Diamonds; in partnership with the Sarabande Foundation (part of the legacy of Alexander McQueen, to foster and empower iconic, original boundary pushing craftsmanship).
