It’s been a long time between posts! I’ve been quite busy with my greatest master piece of all - my baby girl Sage, and my new role as ‘Mama’.. but I’ve now managed to find some time to create again, so here we are. 🧡

I was thinking it’s about time I did a little update on my artist page as I’ve been busy creating our biggest collab masterpiece ever .. mine & Liam’s little cub!! 🥰💫
Most of you would know by now if you follow me on my other page but I just wanted to share on here because it’s been so long between posts.
I have some plans to do a few limited A3 paintings in time for Chrissie. It may or may not happen though 😆 I’ll see how I go. I’m struggling to tie my own shoes these days but at least I have a handy tea holder ☕️👌🏻 taken in Tasmania, Austraila by @gypsenna

It’s winter, rainy & freezing so I’ll just pretend this Sunflower is the sun shining down it’s warm golden rays on me🌻🙌🏻✨ I had a vitamin check recently, being vegan i like to do this just annually to monitor my Iron & B12 etc.. everything came back normal and good except for Vitamin D - which was really low. It made me think that that a lot of us in Tassie (those that work primarily indoors) are probably Vitamin D deficient, especially in winter!! I love going outside in nature, but this really decreases a lot in the cooler months. ❄️ Being deficient can muck around with your energy levels so it’s worth getting a check.
I think it just makes us Tassie peeps appreciate summer & the warmer months even more though, because we all flock outdoors like months to lights as soon as the sun is shining & we can feel warmth!! 😆🌞 taken in Tasmania, Austraila by @gypsenna

Taking care of myself doesn’t mean, ‘me first’, it means ‘me too’.

Last weeks mini road trip moments. I love exploring my island home & it’s even better when you can find funky beachside Airbnb’s that allow pooches! Liam & I took some much need time to recuperate; reading, cooking, napping, playing board games, beach walking, & spent most of it away from screens (with the exception of capturing these snippets offline to make my own home films, which I’m inspired to do more). Then we treated ourselves to a night in a Dome tent, with an outdoor fire & bath - eating vegan cheeze platters & roasting marshmallows under the stars. 🌌

One notion that has been coming up for me recently is that life is all about balance. Sometimes you can run yourself into the ground either mentally, physically or both, without even realising it’s happening. Taking time out for yourself is so important for the mind, body & soul. And to just trust the quiet, knowing voice inside.✨💛 @spice_tas

We are nature, nature is deep within every cell of our beings, not outside of us. We are all One, interconnected, therefore what we do to the environment we are ultimately doing to ourselves.
