I’ve been stuck in a bit of a creative funk this week. I’ve had so many ideas flowing,
with three different half finished drawn up paintings, and I just can’t seem to find the motivation to complete any of them.
~
It hit me last night that it must be time for a full moon & that my cycle is also due (my cycle regularly aligns with the full moon) which is why I can sometimes feel a little out of balance emotionally & creatively.
~
When I can’t seem to put the brush to paper I turn to creative ‘playing’.
Plants and flowers often become my creative outlet & taking photos of things I find beautiful.
~
I had some old flowers with petals dropping so I decided to put them in ice blocks just for fun & to explore the colour and textures. Frozen blooms.
~
Some inspiration to pick the paint brush back up. 😊️🌸🌿

Liam asked if I could create some earthy paintings for him to put in his office, & this is what I have come up with so far. This one is inspired by golden sun sets 🌞 & due to the nature of his job in mental health, I wanted to create something that made his workspace feel relaxed & calm. 🌿
