Fashion. Artistry. And a cause.

The Cashmere Collection is in support of breast cancer research — now in its 23rd year, designers across Canada create their own look from Cashmere toilet paper.

The results are jaw dropping AND you can vote for your favourite design. For every vote cast $1 will be donated!!

I’ve always wanted to see this in person. The cause is incredible and the creativity is jaw dropping.

My absolute favourite fall craft: the floral pumpkin.

I love using these craft pumpkins because they take to mod podge really well AND squirrels don’t eat them. I save my real pumpkins for wildlife but also if you put them out in my neighbourhood you have bite marks within a few hours 😅

All you need is a pumpkin (craft or real), dried florals, and mod podge 🌸🎃

Spent the week literally ~running~ around the city for the opening of the Toronto Biennial of Art.

From quiet conversations over chai with @nepsidhu to vibrant performances by @raphaelbarontini to thought provoking activations by Rebecca Belmore — Toronto now has a biennial.

First things first, Things Fall Apart Opening Party dress had to be @andreaiyamah , Art in itself.

‘Jardim’ by Antonio Oba. The sounds of the bells signal a transmutation of histories into higher states.

I got to speak to Antonio at the media preview, stay tuned for that!

A sneak peek at Konvwa libèté by Raphaël Barontini at the opening party, a celebratory carnival style street parade. (Full version took place the following afternoon)

Standing in front of the work of @cameronharvey9 who I also had the pleasure of speaking to on media day. These works are part of a series called Family of Things, inspired by a fire resistant shrub in Southern California and its resilience during the fires.
