What a Monday night!   It was fabulous seeing so much hard work behind the scenes finally come to fruition with the opening of @kofflerarts newest exhibition, The Synagogue at Babyn Yar: Turning the Nightmare of Evil into a Shared Dream of Good.

It features an original model of the synagogue that was driven out of Kyiv and made its way safely all the way to Toronto for the exhibition. The photographic murals by @maximdondyuk and @edwardburtynsky are so life like and immersive.

We we’re so pleased to welcome @lgontario to the opening night, and even tried Khrinovukha, Ukrainian Horseradish Vodka. Elly Gotz, a Holocaust survivor, lit 6 candles, one for each million of Jews killed in the Holocaust.

This was such a powerful moment and I was pleased to be able to capture it - content coming!!   Then we had to rush off to the @public.sweat appreciation night, to celebrate all that has been accomplished with this wonderful project.

It was such a pleasure to watch @heather_kerrison discover Las Terrenas all on her own last week.

Heather went down to meet up with our friend @bsimkova for some well-deserved time in the sun in one of our favorite places in the world. I'm so excited that Heather is finding her footing there and creating a community all of her own. The confidence that Heather puts forward in her own adventures and endeavors is incredibly inspiring.

Hard to believe so many incredible moments have fit into a month. There are no words to express the gratitude in my heart for this place but mostly to the people that took what would have been a beautiful time and infused it with pure magic. I’m so humbled. Never did I expect to be more sad to leave the friends I’ve made than the sun and surf . The Dominican has always had my heart, but now it feels like another home, what a gift.

Scenes from making memories with @heather_kerrison last week. It’s pretty special when one of your best friends finds a partner you click with, but even more special when you begin to grow an actual friendship that is so beautifully enriching, mutually supportive and leads to adventuring and dreaming together abroad. Cultivating new adult friendships can be so tricky, and I’m so lucky for the richness and support that Heather has brought to my life. To many more sunsets, pina coladas, business brainstorms, dog dates and adventures big and small. 👯‍♀️✨

As a first time ever drone operator, I was so excited an nervous to fly/try my drone and intimidated by the prospect of what I could create. Would it ever be as good as the Drone videos I’ve seen online!?
What’s made a HUGE difference is the ability to do video research and try things I’ve seen others do. This video is a copy of a move by @jotapege.rd an INCREDIBLE Dominican creator whose work is beyond inspiring as a creative and traveller. Give him a follow!
