✨WE’RE GOING TO STAGECOACH✨

First and foremost all the glory, honor, and praise to God. He has given me this passion and love for dance that I never thought I would have, and I am forever grateful

I still can’t even believe what just happened. So many hours, sweat, and tears have gone into this and now I’m done competing for the season🥹

I entered my first ever line dance comp in August 2024 in Nashville completely on a whim. I had no idea what I was doing, and I didn’t even make it past prelims. I had so much fun despite not advancing and thought it would be fun to start actually learning how to compete. The 2025 stagecoach comps were a few months later and I thought it would be fun and a good way to get comp experience. What I didn’t know was that I would meet some of my closest friends and absolutely fall in love with competing🤩

Sitting here writing this and being able to say that I’ve won a stagecoach comp is the most surreal feeling. Last season my goal was to make finals, but I knew this year I wanted to push myself to aim for a win. I want to give a massive shoutout and thank you to @alexanderloganjung for the workshops he put on for us this season, and the countless hours he has poured not only into me, but into many other dancers as well.

This season would not have been possible at all if it weren’t for all the love and support I have been given from my family and friends who pushed me to be the best version of myself that I could be! A huge shoutout to my amazing partners this season @_.cameron_stuart._ @logansoforenko @cal_oflanagan @coleman_thompson99 @djax_8 !

Lastly, the biggest thank you to Annemarie and Word in Motion for putting on these competitions and giving us this incredible opportunity🫶

And just like that my first comp season is over🥹 If you would’ve told me this time last year that i would be competing for stagecoach i absolutely would not have believed you. I started line dancing on and off two years ago, but consistently started dancing less than a year ago! when these comps were starting my only goal was the make finals one time, and i ended the season having made them FOUR times😮 Moonshine Flats, Stampede, In Cahoots, and Agua Caliente! i may not have come out with a win this year, but i had the time of my life and can’t wait for next year :) thanks to my awesome partners @dancin.with.dj @yeehandrew and @kevinstew625 for dancing with me💃 and a HUGE thank you to @annemariewordinmotion and @wordinmotion_dance_team for putting on such awesome comps!! by @hherrera8
