DMV Chimney & Vents' ad says 200+ Google reviews. Their website says 500+. Their About page says 412.

None of those numbers are bad. Having three different ones is.

Once a homeowner notices the mismatch, they start questioning every other claim in your ad. If you don't have the reviews yet, don't push them.

The other fixes:
→ "Holiday discount" means nothing until you say what the discount is
→ A before/after shows the result. Also sell the pain (safety)
→ Give people a real reason to act: repair done in under 72 hours, or the labor is free
→ Get some video ads in the account

@leadfi.ai actually has an incredible product - but the offer is unclear. Fix the headlines, make it more authentic = fix the funnel!

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I learned that with a pair of clippers in my bathroom mirror.

Most business owners learn it in Ads Manager.

You set the budget. You pick the targeting. You write the copy. You stare at a dashboard you don't fully understand and wonder why the phone isn't ringing.

That's not a you problem. That's a specialist problem.

Barbers cut hair for a living. We run ads for a living. At @hivemktg that's literally all we do for home service and med spa businesses.

@renewalbyandersen does $3B+ a year, and their giveaway ad is still running two days after its own deadline.

The giveaway itself is a great offer. Everyone who enters (and tells their friends) becomes a lead, and everyone who doesn't win gets a second-place offer.

But "Enter by October 13" sitting live on October 15 makes people think you're stretching the rules or trying to squeeze money out of them. Avoiding this would have been simple - just put an end date on the ad on the campaign level.

Day 48 of reviewing ads until 10k followers.

Ride'N'Shine Detailing in Reno. Ceramic coating for $799, $500 off, plus a free window coating.

The good: the price is right in the ad. You know the offer in one second. They also call out Reno and new car owners in the video, which is exactly who buys a coating.

The bad: their ad copy says it protects against the harsh Texas sun. They're in Reno. That's a copy and paste from someone else's ad, and it kills trust fast. Also can they stack offers? Only one? Be more clear. You can tell they just slapped more text over an existing ad creative.

Also, there's no deadline on the $500 off and no mention of how long the coating lasts. That's the first thing coating buyers want to know.

Good offer, sloppy details. 6/10.

Diving into @thefiltrationlab ads today!

What they nail: transparent pricing. 6 of their 9 ads show what a reverse osmosis system actually costs vs. what a plumber would charge. That builds trust fast.

3 fixes I'd make to scale it:
1. Creative diversity: test the winning angle with statics (20–30 min each to make) plus green screen ads that walk through a customer's story.
2. Borrow angles from the biggest filtration brands: pain points, dream outcome, speed, convenience. For moms, fear of their kids getting eczema is a big one.
3. Run a quiz funnel or landing page in parallel with Facebook forms and see which brings better leads.

As much as you hate to admit it we're no longer in the days where marketing is optional. Your talent and hard work created your business out of thin air, and your marketing is what keeps it alive. by @hivemktg

If you actually know what each customer brings you over the lifetime of you serving them, the more aggressive you can be to acquire them.

@homeserve_usa sells 50% off the first year of a repair plan, not a repair. Sign the homeowner once and get paid every month. 4.5M+ customers say it works.

My one suggestion: put name + phone BEFORE the zip code, so every half-finished signup becomes a lead you can follow up with.

Private equity is running $29.95 tune-up ads.

@1garagedoordoctor 's ad has been live 4 months straight, and the company behind it got acquired by PE-backed A1 Garage Door Service.

The most ROI-obsessed operators in home services run discounted upfront offers. Copy the math.
