✨ MEET HEATHER, AKA COACH HT! 💜

From the ballet world in Denver, Colorado, to the weight room in Los Angeles, my journey has always been about movement, creativity, and feeling my body*.*

🩰 I grew up in the world of ballet, specifically the Cecchetti style, where proper form and alignment are prioritized.

🎬 I was a dancer in High School Musical 2.

🏋🏽‍♀️ At 29, I competed in a bikini competition in 2019, pushing myself to understand my body on a whole new level.

But here’s what I’ve learned along the way…

I’m 5’2” and The number on the scale doesn’t matter- anymore.

I understand that real fitness isn’t about chasing a number. It’s about understanding how your body operates, how to fuel it with the right foods, how to train effectively, and how to build habits that support your life instead of overwhelming it.

It’s knowing that you don’t have to do EVERYTHING at once.

You don’t have to overhaul your entire life on Monday.
You don’t have to feel guilty when you fall off.
And you don’t have to start over every time life gets in the way.

💜 This is a LIFESTYLE, not a resolution.

The key to maintaining that lifestyle? Change one thing at a time. No pressure to change everything overnight. No shame. No guilt. Just a commitment to becoming a little better each day.

That’s the philosophy behind Coach HT and The PHYT Gym. I want women 🌈 to stop feeling overwhelmed by their health and fitness journey and start feeling empowered by it.

I don’t usually do clapbacks, but when you come for women wearing shorts, you’re going to get a response. 😏💪🏾

Shane Gillis, your time is almost up.

Hi my name is Heather, aka Coach HT. I’ve worked YEARS to build this body. Hundreds of Sweat tears. Reps and sets.

I’ve put in the work. I’ve built the muscle. I’ve earned the confidence. And I feel GOOD in this body.

I can show it off, or I can cover it up. That’s MY choice. What I shouldn’t have to do is feel ashamed of my body because someone else apparently lacks the self-control. Blaming your inability to hold yourself. Accountable is pathetic, and would be unacceptable if it was the other way around.

Honestly? I’m tired of this joke. It’s played out. Other comedians have done the same tired routine with different wording.

Between this and the Sydney Sweeney situation, people keep asking why women are so upset. THIS. RIGHT HERE.

We are tired of being objectified.

Yes, we have boobs. Yes, we have asses. Yes, we have curves. But we ALSO have muscles, brains, ambitions, businesses, discipline, and entire lives that don’t revolve around being appealing to men. Look around, women are doing what women like to do whereas men are stuck, thinking about what women should and should not be doing. Focus on yourself and your own growth.
And let’s talk about this obsession with “respect.” Men love to demand it, but too many seem to believe women have to EARN it while men are entitled to it.

NOPE. We’re done with that.

I’m not shrinking myself, hiding my hard work, or dressing to make someone else more comfortable with their own lack of discipline.
Get your game up or get out of the way. And please, for the love of everything, let’s stop confusing fragile egos with masculinity. The little-dick-energy epidemic is getting out of hand. 😂

Now excuse me while I go lift heavy in my #whoreshorts. 🍑🏋🏾‍♀️

✳️ MY LOVE FOR STRENGTH TRAINING STARTED IN MY 20s 💪🏽💜

I’ve been in love with working out since my college days. Growing up in the ’90s and 2000s, women were constantly bombarded with images of ultra-thin, curveless bodies. I knew I would never be skinny, and I knew I would never have a thigh gap.

So instead of chasing a body that wasn’t mine, I started asking a different question:

How can I change my body in a way that feels strong, empowering, and sustainable?

That’s when I found strength training—and I fell in love.

Once I realized I could intentionally shape and transform my body by lifting heavier, I was hooked. I learned that strength wasn’t just about appearance. It was about confidence, capability, discipline, and discovering what my body could do.

And I’ve been doing it for over a decade now.

In 2017, I started my own boot camp, Body Blast Boot Camp, or BBBxHT, offering free workouts every Saturday at 10 AM. From there, it was off to the races. I wanted to share my gift with anyone and everyone.

Over the years, I’ve continued to grow, learn, and refine my approach. Today, I specialize in helping a very specific type of individual: women who don’t enjoy big-box gyms and understand that they need guidance to train safely and effectively.

If you’re ready to get stronger, feel more confident, and learn how to work out in a supportive environment, I’d love to help you get started. 💜

💜💪🏽 NEW HERE? LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF! 👑

Hey y’all! 👋🏽 I’m Heather Thomas, but most people know me as Coach HT! 🔥

I’m a Master Trainer, strength coach, and the woman behind The PHYT Gym (TPG), an all-women’s gym in South Los Angeles dedicated to helping women get STRONGER, build confidence, and create healthier lifestyles. 💜

But let me tell you what I’m REALLY about…

🏋🏽‍♀️ STRENGTH: Building strong women who know what their bodies are capable of.

🥗 HEALTH: Understanding that fitness is more than lifting weights. Nutrition, recovery, mobility, and everyday habits matter, too.

👑 CONFIDENCE: Helping women show up for themselves, embrace their strength, and stop putting their health last.

🔥 CONSISTENCY: Teaching my clients that fitness isn’t a 30-day challenge or a New Year’s resolution. It’s a LIFESTYLE. And yes, I tell them all the time: You’re going to be working out for the rest of your life, so get used to it! 😂💪🏽

My mission is to help women build strength that carries over into EVERY area of their lives, especially women navigating their 30s, 40s, and beyond.

Around here, we’re not chasing perfection. We’re building strength, discipline, confidence, and habits that last. 💯

So whether you’re here for fitness tips, strength training, healthy lifestyle reminders, or a little Coach HT tough love… WELCOME TO MY CORNER OF THE INTERNET! 🫶🏽

Now, let me get to know YOU! 👇🏽

Drop a 💪🏽 in the comments if you’re committed to becoming a stronger version of yourself, and tell me where you are in your fitness journey!

And if you’re ready to train with me, come check out The PHYT Gym! 💜

☀️💪🏽 FITNESS IS MORE THAN JUST THE GYM!

Yes, eating right and lifting weights are important, BUT the HEALTH & FITNESS lifestyle goes way beyond what you do in the gym!

It’s about building habits that make you a healthier, stronger, more balanced version of YOU. 💜

And one of my favorite reminders? GET OUTSIDE AND GET SOME SUNSHINE! ☀️🌿

Even if it’s just 10–15 minutes out of your day…

✨ Put the phone away.
✨ Step outside and feel the sun on your skin.
✨ Let the breeze hit your shoulders.
✨ Sit with your thoughts.
✨ Enjoy a little people-watching. 👀😂

No scrolling. No distractions. Just YOU being present.

Here’s why it matters: 🌞

☀️ VITAMIN D: Your body uses sunlight to produce vitamin D, which supports bone health, muscle function, and your immune system.

🌅 YOUR CIRCADIAN RHYTHM: Natural light, especially in the morning, helps regulate your body’s internal clock. This supports your sleep-wake cycle and can help your body recognize when it’s time to be alert and when it’s time to wind down.

🧠 YOUR MENTAL WELLNESS: Stepping outdoors, slowing down, and taking a break from screens can give you space to reset, clear your head, and reconnect with yourself.

Listen, y’all… we spend so much time focusing on reps, sets, protein, and calories that sometimes we forget the little things that support our overall health.

Being FIT is about how you LIVE, not just how you LOOK. 💯

So today, Coach HT is giving you homework: Get outside, soak up some natural light safely, take a deep breath, and give yourself 10–15 minutes of uninterrupted YOU time.

Your body deserves more than a workout. It deserves a healthy lifestyle! 💪🏽☀️

💜 CONSISTENCY OVER PERFECTION. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 💪🏾🔥

A reminder I share with my clients: YOU’LL BE WORKING OUT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE—GET USED TO IT! 😂👏🏾 And I mean that with love! ❤️

Your fitness journey won’t always be linear. Injuries, busy seasons, family emergencies, setbacks, and rest are all part of life—and that’s okay.

The goal isn’t to never miss a workout. It’s to ALWAYS FIND YOUR WAY BACK. 🔑

✨ Modify when needed.
✨ Rest when your body needs it.
✨ Give yourself grace.
✨ Then, when you’re ready, GET BACK TO IT!

One week off doesn’t erase your progress. This isn’t about a 30-day resolution—it’s about building sustainable habits for life.

I’m here to help you create a lifestyle you can maintain for YEARS to come. 💜💪🏾
