Apachi Records is a Kenyan independent record label focused on electronic music, founded on August 24, 2016, by the Nairobi-based producer, DJ, and sound designer Dvbliew (real name Azan Trini).

The Founder: Dvbliew (Azan Trini) is a pioneer in the modern Kenyan Electronic Dance Music (EDM) scene. He founded Apachi Records to provide a "home for pure unadulterated electronic music" in a market that previously offered little accommodation for the genre

The label has grown to support over 25 musicians from across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and the UAE.
.
In 2025, the label presented the Nipange Residency, a training program in sound design, music production, and event management.
Dvbliew marked his "final public appearance" and final performance through the Nipange Showcase in late 2025, taking a bow after a 12-year career in the industry.

The label's discography includes releases like "Let's Try Fame for a Change" & "A MiSTAKE" by Dvbliew, " Pain EP" by Steven Katzz (Stushii), KO-XO by SquadBear, "Feelings Change Memories Don't" by Moses Gitua (moo.zert).

29th August 2026. Ut Prosim, the 7th Album by Dvbliew, Azan Trini, is out now exclusively via HustleSasa. It is a purely solo effort, a seeeking of respite. A retelling of turmoil. A purchase of peace.

Azan Trini: What do you tell the man who walked into the fire with his eyes wide open just to prove that he owned the match? On the other side of fear of judgement lay the complete freedom to be who I truly am. Was. I am more than I can comprehend. Those that I believe in speak to the dark and light in me.
.
Even if I lost my appeal in their eyes? Even if they were cornered into casting me out? Even once it became too costly to stand by me. I would rather live with the ashes of my career than not have believed in them. For all their justified social placement choosings, for all their efforts to refute me, we built something beautiful, ineraseable. Timeless.
.
I saw them beyond their potential. Beyond their limitation. Even as I bleed these tears of dismay at how far some of my beloved souls were willing to go to redefine the rootings of my belief in them, my service to them? I stlll would have done it all exactly the same way.

Azan Trini for APV Endurance: It has been a very humbling experience watching people whose injuries we rehabilitated, training strategies, and philosophy we refined, long runs we did. Gave recovery plans. Taught how to warm up, cool down.
.
Seeing all of them leave their hearts at the Nairobi City Marathon today was a humbling experience. I can not take any credit for their work. It is just very wholesome to have believed in people who put in the work . People who did themselves proud.
.
Azan Trini: I have invested a lot of time, money, and effort into this company. I have resigned from my first love, Apachi Records, in order to make this dream a reality. To have 31 people believe in the structure, mission, and intention is a humbling experience. I am unable to take it for granted.
.
Our training for the Standard Chartered Marathon commences on 29th June 2026. Recover well. Rest. Let's Keep Moving. It's Too Easy.

Let's Try Fame for a Change is the climax of IdentityCryses. After retiring in August 2022, I never opened FL Studio for a year. I never even had melodies occurring to me. I stopped going out. I was either at school in Chiromo, or at home in the Abadares or in the White Highlands #racist. Hmm. I kid.

In June of 2023, I felt an overwhelm in emotion. The killing was not helping (#parttimeserialkiller) and I opened my DAW. Found some vocals for Iyanah Kiragu's 4U that she had sent to me in 2022. Knocked out a remix and sent it to her.

Earlier in the year, I had attended her show, and she was not taking all this "I'm retired" nonsense.

She reacted so positively to the remix. I also knocked out a remix for @waturi_ 'No Love'. And he too responded so beautifully. Somehow, that belief was restored to me.

In August of 2023, I started going through IdentityCryses and sampling myself. Remixing myself.

I shared these snippets to my socials and the response from heavy weights like @quass.a @stushii.ke reaffirmed my position.

'Let's Try Fame For a Change' is a reaffirmation of me. It is a qualification of my position, intention and prowess. A confirmation of who I am.

The album launch was supposed to be at Santuri Salon. Until the fucking of May 28th 2025. So I found an alternative and did my biggest most successful launch in my entire career. 28th June 2025, 200 metres from a Monstrosity of a Mall that I had been banned from. Infamy.

I have been in deep reflection about 2025. No think piece. Just that I lost. Severely. No amount of philosophy can reframe what happened. I lost on all fronts. All I had to do was be quiet. People who are less talented, less dedicated will always surpass me because I cannot shut tf up.

Invictus Morior. But still, I die. Still I am buried. Of what consequence is my victory if I cannot live to see its effect? Of what consequence is my furious documentation? Of what consequence were my wails? Lost time. Lost tears. Because none of it was worth it. I am a victim of my own consequence. I brought it all on me. If the fingers are to be pointed, there's only one direction. To me. From whence all the spite and moral encompassing came. To me.

Of what consequence is my existence, except, a preamble to my demise?
