✨The journey is coming back to London✨

For nine immersive days, we step away from the rhythm of everyday life and into something truly special.

A space to practise.
A space to learn.
A space to challenge yourself.
A space to reflect.
A space to be still.
A space to reconnect – with your body, your spirit, your purpose and the teacher within.

The 70-Hour Forrest Yoga Advanced Teacher Training is a full immersion into the Forrest Yoga practice and teachings. Nine days of extensive physical practice, lectures, ceremony, music, teaching, self-inquiry and shared experience.

Learning is only one part of the journey. Over nine days, a room full of individuals becomes a community. You support one another, witness each other’s courage, celebrate breakthroughs and share an experience that stays with you long after the training has ended.

Ana Forrest and Jose Calarco have dedicated their lives to evolving and sharing Forrest Yoga – a practice created for modern life that invites us to heal, grow, and live with greater courage, integrity and authenticity. Through their teachings, they continue to inspire and mentor students and teachers around the world, sharing a wealth of knowledge, decades of experience and a wholehearted commitment to every student they meet.

Supported by an exceptional team of assistants, they create an environment where each participant feels seen, encouraged and challenged to grow.

🔥 In 2027, we are honoured to welcome Ana Forrest and Jose Calarco back to Indaba for their only 70-Hour Forrest Yoga Advanced Teacher Training of the year.

Seeing Indaba nominated for the OM Yoga & Lifestyle Awards 2026 @omyogamagazine in the category of Yoga Studio of the Year, feels particularly meaningful.

For 15 years, Indaba has been part of London’s yoga landscape, creating a place where people can come to practise, learn, teach, meet one another and share different chapters of their lives.

Fifteen years brings with it a lot of stories. So many people have walked through Indaba’s doors, each bringing something of their own to the life of the studio. Woven through all of those years are the practices, the teachers, the students, the team, the conversations, the friendships and all the ordinary moments that, together, make a place what it is.

To see Indaba included among this year’s nominees is a lovely moment to pause and appreciate that journey — and everyone who has been part of it along the way.

Thank you for being part of the Indaba family. 🤍

Poor posture, underuse, overuse, misuse of body limits range of motion, creates restriction and pain and can lead to injuries. Join me for a 2-day workshop 14 & 15 November @indabayoga to learn simple hacks to release body from head to toes. You should be your first line of defense - self massage to address any issues before they become real issues. This is the most important thing I teach for true wellness. #fasciatherapy #fasciarelease #fasciahealth #motionislotion #mobility taken in London, United Kingdom by @indabayoga

Base, stabilise, assist.

A formula one of my teachers taught me early on in my career that has stuck with me throughout my approach to assisting and adjusting. Here it is applied to spotting drop backs.

Base: make sure you have a stable base. Think of a short, wide warrior one, with your knees bent for more stability. Lean away from your student to create counterbalance as they drop back.

Stabilise: in the first couple of videos I start with the shoulders, stabilising them as she drops back, as this is typically where someone collapses when they first try. Once the shoulders are fine, I move on to stabilising the hips and pelvis, and then gradually take this away.

Assist: once these two things are in place, you can assist them to drop back.

When you adjust someone for the first time, start off helping them more. As they gain confidence, gradually take the support away, otherwise they can come to rely on you. Hands-on adjustments become more directional and light touch, and it goes from adjusting into spotting. This is what gradually gives somebody the confidence to be able to do a drop back.

These videos are taken from my workshops last weekend at the beautiful House of Om in Luxembourg @houseofom.studios

Assisting and adjusting has always been a huge part of my career, and it's something I always go into detail on in my workshops and trainings. If you want to learn more about adjustments, my next training is my Art of Flex-ability Expansion Training at Indaba Yoga, 2nd to 4th October. There are just a couple of spots left. Check Indaba's website or message me directly if you're interested 💜

Teaching privates, I work with a lot of people who’ve been injured through yoga. One of the most common injuries I see is yoga butt (hamstring tendinopathy).

So much of yoga is forward folds and splits, stretching the hamstrings again and again. But how often do we actually strengthen them? That gap between how much we stretch and how little we load is usually a big part of why this happens.

In this video I’m showing some of the exercises I’d use, whether you’re already dealing with this or want to stay ahead of it. They also help balance out a lot of what you’re doing on the mat.

This is one of the injuries we’re covering in the Art of Flex-ability Expansion Training at Indaba this October. A couple of spots left. Great for teachers wanting to work with students on this, or anyone wanting more longevity in their own practice.

Link on Indaba’s website, or message me directly with questions.
