Yep, you read that right. Officially a full year behind. But in some ways it's even more fun to reflect on where I was a year ago then to rehash the events of the last 30 days. This one had woodworking, boats, bike racing, breakfast outside, trips with friends in and out of state, triple birthdays, and dipping my toes into espresso. It was a lot of things, but mostly it was a trip to Kansas for the Unbound 200mile gravel race. A life and perspective changing experience, and I feel so grateful for the opportunity to participate. Not to mention, all of the support and motivation of my friends, family, and teammates. ♥️

Posting this makes me officially only a half-year behind on recaps (lol) but is also ironically just a few days after getting my 'denied' email to participate in the XL race for 2024. So lots to think about, and reflect on heading into the new year. taken in Emporia, Kansas by @inserra.misc

April 2023, Part 2.
here's a lazy cut of April's back half. Belgian Waffle California 🧇 with a killer crew from @supersprinkles.racing , managed to nab top 1/3rd for my age group! And a lovely trip to NYC for @perrrrrrr And @_salwa.touzani 's wedding!! 🍻🥳🥰Wish I could have made those clips longer but oh well, I am still getting properly bamboozled by reels editing tools. by @inserra.misc

April 2023' (Part 1)
This was a MEGA month, and it's been fun to reflect on it. In just the first two weeks I got my new bike built up, ripped some jumps in an OBF race, and went on some epic rides locally and down in SantaCruz for the Super Sprinkles team camp. And a whole lot of fun, funny, and weird moments in-between.

Backstory... I have edited and attempted to post a version of this reel 8 times 🫠 and always had it crash out and lose the clip. But looks like 8th times the charm, overcoming some technical issues with reels at long last! So more to come ✌️ by @inserra.misc

If last month was about friends, this one was about family. great time together on the slopes of Utah, and the fields of Napa. Not to mention my first bike racing podium, and some great local hangs too. by @inserra.misc

January 2023'
What can I say that would even scratch the surface?
Started the year waking up on a Hawaiian volcano, and ended that same day camping on the beach. I got to ride one of the longest bike climbs in the world to Manea Kea. A whole week in SF with my brother ripping bikes and cooking up good eats... Surfing, card games, the ballet? a dinner party, training rides, bar hopping, my first Gravel Race...

Most importantly, I got to do it all with great friends, family, and people (too many, but you know who you are). And that is what made it so special. 👌
