Anger took the best of him He did not mean to hit me It was just an accidental push That is just how he vents He loves me He really really does Just a scratch, no big deal Just a bruise, nothing a first aid can't fix Just a small burn, will be better under cold water Just a fracture, I will be fine in a month He said sorry with a lunch date It will never happen again It was only one time again I am sure of it He loves me He really really does Only the second time, that's alright Mistakes happen, from everyone at that He is human, bound to have feelings I know I do too, I swear he understands He didn't know belts hurt that bad Must have forgotten we don't bring the bottle inside He loves me. He does. That's what I always said Did I know he could hurt me so much? Maybe I didn't even know what is love Or respect Or what it is to speak up Now I know, now I know So, I filed a complaint and put him behind bars And chose to respect myself first by @iraontracks

//Airports// There is a peculiar melancholy that airports have. The joy of coming home, visiting new places and leaving behind people and memories. All these feelings trapped within these walls. Outside, life awaits. But at the airport, time is frozen. Nobody and everybody is sleeping. It is it’s own world. I went on a trip to Thailand recently with a tour group. With most of the members coming from Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore etc etc. After coming back we exchanged Instagram handles with the promise of staying in touch. But we all know how those promises go. They will go back to their lives and so will I. We may never see other again except for the social media updates that would be probably be hidden beneath the stockpile of content. We will go on to be different people, leading different lives. Our paths might never cross, but we will always have that one shared moment when all of us felt like one in a foreign land. Trying to understand how locals spoke, sharing travel hacks, making washroom runs, searching for Thai restaurants, eating together, dancing on the cruise, laughing and cracking inside jokes that only this lot would ever get. Every once in a while, we might remember one another, reminiscing about those nine days in Thailand. As they say, “We will always have Thailand” by @iraontracks

"It was almost like rolling a stone down the hill warning the rest of the year to keep up." It was a fulfilling year of learnings, lessons and memories of a lifetime. Cotton candy skies I am walking in air Slept one night And woke up in a fairytale I now smile a little silly, my face is all pink It’s that moment in the story The princess has just met this one prince Its that old feeling of that new rush Starting that old game again But with a new player He makes the first move and now we are here Its still the start but it’s something different I can see it, in the way he smiles, in the way he walks This one’s unlike any But my favourite one so far Every brush of hands, every shared laugh My mind is tangled in this magical chaos I come home feeling fuzzy and warm The hours past, all I can think of Every single moment stuck in my brain Replaying itself like a broken tape We don’t know where we are, we will see where it goes The milestone is at zero, the next one’s far off We are simply enjoying the view A drive for one turned to a drive of two But I do wonder sometimes, if not too often Out of all the paths we could choose to take It would be a serious pity, If we just decide to hit the brakes by @iraontracks
