If you knew Bryant, you would know that he is the most gentle and kind human being with a big heart. Bryant was my mom’s best friend, who quickly became someone in my life that I looked up to and was there when I needed someone. I remember being extremely hesitant the first time I meant Bryant, just because that’s how I am with new people, but that quickly changed. Bryant has always been very quiet and observing, but knew exactly when the time was right to bring out one of his jokes or make fun of me because of how much I dislike cats. One thing that I appreciate most about Bryant are the texts and calls I constantly got from him. I have countless texts asking “if we all got home safe,” or “your mom rented a piece of equipment for her yard and I worry about her using it with no one home,” that would follow up with texts like “but don’t tell her i’m worried.” He not only supported Mom and all of her crazy ideas and adventures, but also my siblings and I. He loved going to my gymnastics meets and cheering me on. He never really understood gymnastics, but tried to because he knew how much it meant to me. Bryant has been so excited for the new Chick-fil-A to open, which might possibly be his favorite place to eat, but I think he loved it so much because he would get to go through the drive through and see my siblings working. Game days won’t be the same without him here. If I wasn’t at the football game, I always knew I would be getting a text making sure I was able to get the game on the tv. Bryant loved everyone and everyone absolutely loved Bryant. My heart is hurting for my Mom, because losing your best friend is not easy, but the impact he had on my life and so many others is something I will never forget. by @islay_drake
