Our debut album “Adam Hopper & the Wimps” is out now on @bingorecs - in no particular order it features:

A song about otters
A song about the Peer Hat
A song about writing songs
A song about nothing
A song about Bob Dylan

Hi all,

Tour starts in 6 weeks. Now would be an amazing time to grab your tickets. Really pleased to add a new show in Chester courtesy of @thisfunctionalcity and @restlessbear_live supporting @babybraveyeah - should be a great show, I’ve never been to Chester in my life but #nathan says great things.

We just had our first tour rehearsal for a while and it was sounding pretty quite good. These will be the last Wimps shows for a while. It’d be great to see some friends out. All tickets available in the bio link. by @itsadamhopper

Our album “Adam Hopper & the Wimps” is out this Friday 25th on @bingorecs - can’t believe it tbf! Here is how I made the stampers for the record at work at @stamperdiscs (feat @eoinloveless on lacquer prep). I of course signed my name on it… couldn’t resist. Still time to pre-order on Bandcamp if you wish and thank you to those who have done so. Looking forward to everyone hearing it 🐸 by @itsadamhopper

Album’s been out a week! Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has listened. I’ve really appreciated hearing from those who have reached out and let me know what they think, so thanks for that too. Keep listening!

Cheers in particular to @hardofhearingmagazine and @mixitallup for two sweet write ups for the album. Means a lot that you found the time to do that!

Finally it’s bandcamp Friday so now would be a great day to grab a record. TA! 🦦

Hey all,

Thanks to everyone who has listened to/purchased a copy of the record since Friday. The pre-orders have started arriving I believe! You may notice that they all contain a risograph printed lyric zine. Lloyd and I spent a day at @bingorecs HQ designing them and every record contains one. It has a brief foreword and thanks, then all the lyrics hand written, overlapped with my photography of the band and various stuff over the writing and recording of the record.

There are still plenty left so grab your record and zine from Bandcamp now! 🐈

Thanks to Lloyd with his help formatting and designing the zine and to @footprintworkerscoop for printing it, it looks great! taken in Sheffield, United Kingdom by @itsadamhopper

Hi all,

The album that the wimps and I recorded at @deliciousclamstagram is out on Friday. Here are the best images and videos that I have on my phone from a really fun couple of weekends spent making it. We tried really hard so make sure you give it a listen. Glad it’s finally going to be out. Still time to pre order a 12” from @bingorecs hq in the bio. Love imagining Lloyd pushing all the records down to the post office in a wheelbarrow. by @itsadamhopper

Spend me days making the stampers for everyone else’s records at @stamperdiscs - a privilege to be able to make them for my own. Gonna post a full vid of the process but here is the master lacquer and then the finished stampers - Long live physical media! Album is out September 25th, pre-order now in bio 😎 taken in Sheffield, United Kingdom by @itsadamhopper

Hey all, my favourite thing about being a songwriter is making social media content. I made this great reel to announce that the second single from our upcoming album is called “You Knock Me Down (But in a Good Way)” and is out this Friday! Put a reminder in your calendar or something and make sure to listen to it 5 times. Don’t forget to grab an album and buy a ticket for our tour too, all links in bio. Cheers 👋 by @itsadamhopper

It’s been a good week. The grass in the garden is growing back and You Knock Me Down has had a couple of Radio plays. One on @bbc6music (thanks Marc!) and one on @bbcintroducing Sheffield. Thanks to @christiancarlisle and @empilbeam - and cheers to everyone who has listened so far. by @itsadamhopper

Afternoon all,

The second single from our self-titled forthcoming album is out today! It is called You Knock Me Down (But in a Good Way). Because sometimes things that you say sound like they mean the opposite of what you mean. The albums have arrived at @bingorecs HQ and I think it is a good album so it may be worth pre-ordering one now! It may also be worth listening to the new song and getting a ticket for one of the tour shows so that you can at least hum along when you’re there because you know the tune.
