TICKETS ON DICE NOW. Final All Spells of the year, we bring you not one but THREE release shows all rolled into one plus an absolutely killer band who we are honoured to have playing on our bill.

@sugartaxsugartax draw inspiration from freakbeat, garage and dance punk. Combining drum machines with live percussion, angular guitars, big bass and group vocals; their sound is raw and unapologetically danceable. Rooted in the local scene, the band brings high energy and an edge of unpredictability to every show. Come join the circus before it burns down!

Second on the bill is @strangedevotionmusic , with a sound that dances between the sweetness of dream-pop and the rawness of early post-punk. This will be their final show and coincide with the release of their sophomore EP ‘What Happens Now?’.

@121212apostles is a guitar/synth serenading duo backed by a drum machine. With enough of the attributes of a conventional rock band between the two of them, their sound fills more space than the sum of its two-band-member parts. 12 Apostles move between pared down love songs that sound like children’s choir hymns and discordant oddball rock and roll with unsettled lyrics.

Forged in the box room of a Ladybarn terraced house and honed in the pub back rooms, rehearsal spaces and grassroots venues of the North of England, @itsadamhopper (and his wimps) provide anti-folk tinged songwriting, equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking. 2026 sees them release their debut album and head out on tour. Steadily building on a catalogue rich in disarmingly honest, open-hearted lyricism, the band uses its debut long player “Adam Hopper & the Wimps” to set out the stall for what it has become over years of refinement on the stage and in the practice room. Plaintive and grounded folk swells into psychedelic crescendo; Americana-inflected lead guitar parts act as expansive foil for wry, almost cast-off observations; admissions of gnawing insecurities to Go-betweens jangle bubbles over into full-band wig outs.

Grab someone you love and hit the dancefloor....

This is an absolutely beautiful double bill at the ever brilliant Alexander's Chester.

Baby Brave are an Indie Pop band from Wrexham, North Wales.

Imagine a sound somewhere nestled between Wolf Alice and Talking Heads, playing classic pop songs with soaring melodies, disco rhythms, gut wrenching guitars and a sonic palette that ranges from echo-laden new wave to distorted post-punk.

The band is set to make a bold debut with their album 'Sugar to the Tongue', slated for release October 2026.

Adam Hopper & The Wimps released their debut self-titled album, Adam Hopper & the Wimps, on September 25, via Bingo Records.

It's an an absolute dream. Celebrating beauty in simplicity, rejecting overindulgence and embracing the healing properties of nature.

Tickets via biography.

Making records is so much fun! If these aren’t the faces of a man enjoying a relaxing bout of creative flow then who knows what that looks like! The record @itsadamhopper had such a grand old time making is out this Friday. Preorder and listen to singles in bio.

At the top of the week the debut album by @itsadamhopper come out. Here’s a photo of the day it was made, without Adam in it. Presumably this was shot midway, during a pause when guitarist John (centre left) forced things to a halt for some demanding fried-potatoes-related reason. You can still preorder the record, and listen to singles etc.
