Dear LAGRH Friends,
Thank you for being part of our community and for supporting our work. Our Gala was an inspiring celebration of our shared mission, and we wanted to give a recap of what made the evening so special.

The room was electric as we presented the first-ever Champion of Women’s Choice and Justice Award to the incomparable Gloria Allred, whose decades of fearless advocacy and unwavering dedication to justice left everyone moved and inspired.

A special thank you to Grammy Award-winning guitarist Laurence Juber, whose extraordinary talent set the perfect tone for the night ahead. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful host, Rita Rudner, for her wit and warmth throughout the evening. We were especially grateful to our special guest, Jason Alexander, who shared his own personal story about reproductive health – a moment of raw honesty that touched everyone present. And of course, a round of applause to our incredible line-up of comedians: Mo Collins, John Fugelsang, Carol Leifer and Kira Soltanovich. Huge kudos and thanks to our auctioneers, Wendy Liebmanand Fritz Coleman who kept the bidding lively and fun, and to Fritz who also served as our announcer throughout the night.

We’d be remiss not to thank our remarkable event producers, Kate Rosenberg and Wendy Liebman and our entire Gala Committee.
