POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

At a time when farm succession is top of mind, @sonblestfarm is showcasing the power of family and dairy grazing. The Chupp family of Sonblest Farm in Jones have transformed their land by grazing their dairy herd. Running the farm is a family affair; Dan and Leah Chupp get a lot of help from their children.

From caring for their cows to practicing rotational grazing and looking after the land, the family is demonstrating what it means to farm with purpose.

We are so inspired by their story and hope you are too!

I’ve interviewed countless people working full time jobs on top of farming, just to be able to afford to grow the thing we need to live. This doesn’t make sense, and if we are going to create long term sustainable change, we need to stop being distracted by the billionaires baiting us to fight each other and collectively join to make our voices heard where it matters. Head to @uprootcenter to add your name to the petition to get big ag money out of politics. A house divided may falter, but a barn united will shelter. by @itslizbarney
