Sometimes the biggest act of courage is deciding that your age, your past, and other people’s expectations will not define what comes next.
You are allowed to evolve, begin again, dream bigger and become more of who you were created to be. 💗
Your next chapter can still surprise you.

I first met @abecca_xo online after I won one of my charity pageants. She slid into my DMs simply to congratulate me, encourage me and pour such beautiful words into me.

The next time I met her was in person, at a send-off event organised for one of our UK queens who was travelling abroad to represent the country.
And Rebecca was exactly who she had been online — a shining light.

Beautiful inside and out. Kind. Encouraging. Warm. A woman who represents so much of what is valuable and good.

That is why it breaks my heart to see this incredible queen being racially and unfairly critized online — criticised for her appearance, her background and — while she is simply doing something she should be incredibly proud of: representing Britain on an international stage.

I wasn't born in Britain. The United Kingdom became my home, and I am incredibly proud of the opportunities this country has given me and the values I have experienced here.

And Britain, to me, is big enough for Rebecca too. 🇬🇧🩵

So rather than amplify negativity, I want us to do something different.

I want us to pray for Rebecca.
May God cover her throughout this journey . May He surround her with His love, His favour and His protection. May every word spoken with the intention of discouraging, distracting or derailing her fall to the ground. May no evil eye, hateful comment or malicious voice succeed in stealing her joy, her confidence or her purpose.

May she walk onto that international stage knowing that she is supported, she is celebrated and she belongs there.

And may she REPRESENT. 👑✨

Please follow @abecca_xo , support her journey and VOTE for her through @universalwomanofficial

@abecca_xo, I am using my platform to stand with you, beside you and support you, and I encourage everyone in my community to do the same.

Go and shine, Queen. 👑🖤🇬🇧

Winning a crown does not suddenly make you immune to prejudice.

Since becoming a pageant queen, I’ve been reminded that visibility can bring encouragement, opportunity — and sometimes ugliness.

Racial abuse is not “an opinion”, banter or constructive criticism. It is racism, and I will call it what it is.

I will not shrink myself, apologise for taking up space, or allow somebody else’s prejudice to determine how proudly I show up.

I am proud of where I come from, proud of the woman I have become, and grateful for every person who sees representation and possibility when they see me wearing this crown.

I won’t spend my reign fighting strangers in comment sections. I would rather use my voice to encourage people, serve my community and help create spaces where others know that they belong.

You do not have to look like the person who came before you to deserve a seat at the table.

Sometimes, simply taking your place is the statement.

Age can mark your years. It does not have to mark your limits. What have you stopped yourself from doing because you think you are too old? What dream did you quietly put away because you thought your time had passed? And what if it hasn’t?

Maybe you are not too late. Maybe you are simply still becoming. What would you begin today if you stopped believing your age was the end of the story?

A queen knows that the crown is more than a title; it is a reflection of grace, confidence, purpose, and the woman who wears it.

Honoured to be part of Endurance Pageants, celebrating queens who carry themselves with elegance and lead with purpose.

Crown on or crown off, we move.

Getting my morning walk in and slowly getting back into a routine after an incredible few weeks.

One walk at a time.
