Follow for episode 3! Cooking my way through a vintage handwritten cookbook, episode 2: Orange Vanilla Ice Cream Candy! So many questions for Elizabeth: mostly what’s an ice cream candy and does we she giggle at hard ball stage orrrrr…🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 lmk if you try this!!

RECIPE:
2 cups sugar
2 T vinegar
Half Cup Hot Water

Combine ingredients into saucepan
Dissolve sugar
Cover and cook until hard ball stage (lol)
Pour onto buttered plate.
Add flavoring! (I added vanilla and orange)
When cool, tug into log and cut into pieces.

Elizabeth was pretty spot on with this one.
