Honoured to have been a part of Shared Planet, especially the Waters episode, for which I had the privilege of going out on many shoots. It’s now available to watch free on CBC Gem and YouTube!

Working on these shoots with RiverRoad Films has been an incredible experience. From filming in Brazil’s beautiful Pantanal & Amazon regions to the stunning landscapes of Idaho. I met some incredible people and made some lifelong memories. Each location offered its own set of challenges and rewards. Being part of such a dedicated team in these breathtaking places made this journey truly unforgettable.

The Waters episode shares inspiring stories from Idaho to Indonesia, highlighting hope in the world’s oceans and freshwaters. In Raja Ampat, a once-threatened marine ecosystem is now a Marine Protected Area with unmatched biodiversity and more jobs for locals. In Idaho, a rancher partners with beavers to restore water to his drought-stricken land. In Brazil’s Pantanal wetlands, ecotourism is helping jaguars thrive alongside major cattle ranching operations. And in the Amazon, Indigenous communities are protecting their waterways, ensuring a future where people and wildlife can coexist.
