💛🧡🌀🪶One of my true teachers throughout my life. You can find them all over Oregon in a beautiful display of family bonds. I found a youngster wounded and flapping and I picked it up carefully. As I walked to my house five blocks away- the whole family followed me squawking. Once I arrived to give it some water and collected itself the Jay hop hop through the chain link fence to be welcomed by each of it’s family by a beak swooping touch flying out and about. This painting is dedicated to family and to sticking together through it all. @green_witch_next_door @nico__films @halliecashman 🔵12 x 12 🔵Scrub Jay🪶🌀SOLD♥️ by @jacobjosephnorris

Birds and Flags are the colors of the skies

To look at birds and be in wonder
They remind us to focus on what is important,
Nectar and Family.

The Eagle and the Condor
The Hummingbird and the Yellow Rumped Warblers

Territory is important for the birds
But, sometimes they flock together,

The Eagle and the Condor
The Hummingbirds and the Yellow Rumped Warblers

It’s time to go South into our Hearts,
Grind Corn, Share Meals, Come together

at the end of the day if we have survived
take in the nectar and be together.

This is a painting of “Rico’s Neives” painted of the street in Tepoztlán, Morales, Mexico during the honoring of Dia De Los Muertos.

This flying cloud is called the Ruby-Crowned Kinglet. If you’ve ever tried to capture them on film, you would meet pure energy and frustration. My son Nico @nico__films took his camera out one day in the light desert rain and did the impossible. He took some incredible photos of this bird for me. Thank you Nico- you are one of the best photographers I know. This painting is available for purchase. 🌀 5 x 7 🌀$275 by @jacobjosephnorris

One last peak through the trees. The sun’s warmth on your chest and your vision is flooded with rays of light. There is no time like the present for this is the edge of night. The coolness is around the corner where the dragonfly rests. Thanks to my son @nico__films for inspiring this raw piece. Available now! Frame option as well. 24” x 36” taken in Hosmer Lake by @jacobjosephnorris
