I had one of the most ordinary conversation with a 13 and 17 year old not so long ago. One was struggling with balancing school, training and sleep, but did not know how to communicate with coaches and parents. The other was stressed about an upcoming public exam, on what they should study in college, and the anxiety of the transition. I, tried my best to share them my experience, talked about the times when I face planted with my plans. And from what I could tell their anxious faces turned into burst of laughter or just laughing at me.

For me, being able to help just that tiny bit brings me joy. Whether or not my tips were useful, it created a moment and space to talk about mental stresses that surround us daily.

That’s what @mind.thewaves wants to do.

在大眾眼中，歐鎧淳 @stephaniehsau 、鄭莉梅 @camillelcheng 與楊珍美 @jamieyyyyy 總與奧運光環緊密相連。就在2026年渣打香港馬拉松的賽道裡，她們換上跑鞋，暫時卸下「女飛魚」的身份，以非牟利機構 Mind The Waves @mind.thewaves 創辦人的角色，展開了一場10公里長跑的挑戰。

對習慣在水中拼搏的她們，今次不單是跨越體能的挑戰，更是一次推宣心理健康話題的重要里程碑。從昔日在泳道上獨自修行，到如今帶領二十人團隊在公路上並肩同行，三位創辦人透過這次陸上征途，分享運動員的堅毅精神和「Mind The Waves」背後的理念，鼓勵大眾勇敢面對內心的困擾。

Can’t believe I flew across the world for a 10K… and it was totally worth it 🙌🏻☺️🤍💛

Since @mind.thewaves was selected to be @schkmarathon charity partner for the first time, we planned many different milestones to make today meaningful and successful. And we did it!!!

Thank you to everyone who supported us and this Event. To my family and friends, our sponsors, photographers, youth ambassadors and the ~new~ MTW running group, we wouldn’t be here without you all🫶🏻
