@ironmantri 70.3 World Champs Nice France.
What an amazing trip. As much as I would love to say @jenfletchtri and I both had personal best races, unfortunately that’s not the case. We both had obstacles to overcome, but at the end of the day we are both so thankful to be able to line up at the swim start and eventually run down that finish line chute.
We are grateful and blessed to share such a beautiful race with so many friends alongside the fastest triathletes in the world.
Special shoutout to @hayden_wilde for representing the Kiwis, congrats champ 👏 👑

This is a thank you note.
On this mornings ride as I followed four friends that were all riding in our kit, I had an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the people that have supported and represented Endur3 Bikes over that last 5 years.
There are more people to thank than I could even begin to mention, but please know that we truly appreciate you all 🫶

Yesterday’s ride was pretty high up there on the best ride ever list.
@jenfletchtri and I rode from Canmore to Banff, had a great coffee @analogcoffee.ca and a bite to eat @fatoxbanff then back again. Not far, not super fast, but very memorable.

@taraweraultratrail trip was undoubtedly one of the most memorable trips home I’ve ever had. The places, the people, the experiences are all forever etched into our hearts.
Special shout outs to @six60 for providing the summer soundtrack @legendaryblackwaterraftingco
@shortydubs for the gallery tour
@carleys_kitchen for all the coffees and snacks
And most of all Mum @susan_savill and Dad for letting us all crash your home every time we come home.

@taraweraultratrail was epic!!!
The entire crew crushed it and @feslerdarc inspired us all as she pushed through crazy weather and trail conditions to finish the 100 miler.

Amazing weekend @ironmanamericas La Quinta 70.3. The race was beautiful, the weather was perfect and I got to cross the line with my even more beautiful wife @jenfletchtri.
We got to watch @bryanwithughwhy run down the red carpet to his first 70.3 finish and celebrate @alilany picking up a world champs slot.
Then we finished things up with an early birthday celebration for Jenny with family who came down from Canada. by @jasonkiwitx

Well once again @otilloraceusa has chewed me up and spit me out.
The race got off to a good start and despite being sick for a solid week and a half leading into the race I was sitting Inside the top 10 overall at the halfway point. As we exited the third swim a group of us misunderstood a volunteers direction and ran the wrong way for quite some time before we got back on the race course. After pushing hard to make up time it became obvious that I wasn’t fully recovered and things started going south. I continued to push as hard as I could all the way to the line, but lost a ton of time in the last 2 swim and run legs.
Despite everything I had an absolute blast and I’ll be back again next year to see if I can finally figure out this swimrun puzzle.
If you haven’t raced a swimrun before then I highly recommend it. Check out @otilloraceusa and add a race to next years schedule.
