Straight to the track. A JBR client brought their Lotus Exige V6 to @bicestermotion soon after taking delivery. Lightweight and engaging, it was perfectly suited to the damp conditions. Some cars are made to be driven.

A morning made for driving!

Our track day at Bicester Motion brought customers and cars together for plenty of time on circuit. Early damp conditions added another dimension to the experience.

Our very own racing driver @carmsracing joined us in her JBR-branded racing MINI, while @theintercooler shared in the action and met owners.

From lightweight sports cars to some very special machinery, it was a morning spent enjoying great cars as intended.

A huge thank you to Carmen, The Intercooler and everyone who joined us.

Yesterday, we joined @theintercooler at @bicestermotion to give some of our clients the chance to enjoy their new cars exactly as they were meant to be enjoyed.

Seeing the cars we’ve funded putting smiles on their drivers’ faces is what it’s all about!

And, of course, our very own @carmsracing made an appearance in her JBR-branded racing MINI. Best Thursday ever? We think so.

20 years, more than 162,000 miles and still going strong. 👏 This BMW E39 M5 was bought with just under 70,000 miles on the clock and has more than doubled that since. Its owner’s approach is simple: if it needs something, it gets it. Keep on top of the maintenance and the car keeps rewarding you.

Some cars stay in the family. This 1972 BMW 3.0 CSL has been there since 1994, when its current owner’s father found it in a lock-up in Birmingham. Now beautifully restored, with a Lester Owen-built engine giving it a little extra punch, it’s still the shape that its owner loves most.

And when asked if he’d ever sell it, the answer was pretty clear: “I fully intend to be buried in it.” 😄

Exactly the kind of relationship with a car that @theintercooler’s Concours d’Appréciation was made to celebrate.

That’s the kind of story that made @theintercooler’s Concours d’Appréciation a little different. This 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV picked up an award not for flawless paintwork, but for the life it’s lived and the memories still being made with it.

A beautiful car with an even better story.
