I have questioned whether I’m gonna post this or not 7295 times. Hi. How’s it going? It’s been a very rough 12 months and I really wasn’t honest with most of you about it. Between a truly painful falling out with a couple of close family members (that I am still working my way through), losing Jackson, and some health issues that I’m getting under control, I’ve been really struggling. (Not to mention the state of the world)

I’ve dropped the ball on some friendship stuff, I’ve canceled plans, I’ve isolated. I’ve been trying to dig myself out of this hole for months and it has been hard.

There are so many awesome things in my life: Michael, my chosen family and friends, my cats, my job. These are the things that motivate me to keep working and being better. Thanks to those dear humans who love me and allow me to exist as myself. 💜🪩🥂 by @jeniferhurd

Ran away to my favorite place for a couple of days. Saw a ton of Velella velella, snuggled my favorite winery cats (sorry no pic @sokolblosser / @2orangewinerycats, the snuggles were too good), Oreo, and a stellar flight from @argylewinery. And frogs. by @jeniferhurd

When I was a kid, I was a doll collector. I had an entire wall of shelves full of collector Barbies and porcelain dolls in addition to my Mary Kay (lol) carrying case full of everyday play dolls.

When I moved from one family member to another, I was not allowed to take them with me and was never able to get them back. I restarted my collection and Frankie was my Christmas gift to myself.
