what a whirlwind this past couple weeks have been and yet it’s been so full of joy and unlocking in my heart.
Recently I’ve been really taking a step back and deeply enjoying lots of social time and pursuing what makes my heart come alive!
I spent a week at a farm with the School of Worship, and I have not laughed that hard and so much in SO long! I love them so much
I’ve also suddenly had cravings for Japanese and Chinese broth bowls and it’s been the BEST food ever recently!
Lots of celebrating birthdays (flipping burgers with a fin lol) and lots of random adventures.

I love the stripped back moments and less over consumption; more books, magazines, word puzzles, and creating in the kitchen, making a garden and all the things🌼

I love to use bone broth whether in curries, rice or even a glass on its own! And I’ve found that by buying a whole chicken, cooking it, and saving the bones; it’s an incredibly affordable way to have heaps of bone broth always on hand! Plus it’s so easy to make!

Here’s my recipe for affordable bone broth
Ingredients
-1-2 chicken caresses (I freeze mine)
-herbs of choice
-an acid element (lemon juice, acv)
-salt
-optional add ins (veggie scraps/chopped carrot, onion, and garlic)

Method
1. Put your chicken bones, herbs, and salt in a slow cooker.
2. Fill the slow cooker to the top with water.
3. Leave your slow cooker on low or high for 24+ hours. Sometimes I let mine go for almost 48 hours.
4. Ladle out your bone broth and store in the fridge! Use within 2 weeksšŸ¤

25 years young and going strong
I’d definitely say I’ve got a lot to learn but here’s a bite sized chunk of wisdom from me to you…

The biggest thing I’ve learned from 20yrs-25yrs is that you do a lot of growing, making chooses (whether good or bad), and your gonna experience a lot of new things, realizing that your really actually becoming an adult.

My tip is don’t get too caught up in your head and feel the need to have life sorted. Make memories, have goals, pursue real authentic friendship, discover deeper intimacy with Jesus and be surrounded by people who lift you up.

One day you’ll turn 25 and realize you’re ok, and you’re ok with your personality and place in life. There’s a whole lot of life to still discover but you can gain a quiet confidence about it.

And maybe you feel like that’s impossible, but maybe you need to slow down, take a step back and seek the Lord for your life. I promise His way is better and is the only reason I am here today😊

As you all can tell me and Caleb have moved our little life into a new space and looking back over the past week of from the flurry of packing and transitioning physically and mentally into a new season; it really moves me at all the things God showing me through these capture moments in time.

-I treasure the space of our first newly wed home and the blessing of living beside a beautiful elderly couple.
-I treasure the time we spent gardening with them at their house; and how we had our own outdoor space to stand in the sun and enjoy creation.
-I treasure the memories of the possum that jumped on our roof almost every night.
-I treasure the beauty of developing me and Caleb’s first months of marriage, being silly, and working through life’s challenges.
-I treasure resting and creating in the kitchen.
And most especially I treasure the wonder of God and his grace through every aspect of life.

All these things are blessings and things I will always hold in my heart.
Now beginning this week and officially starting a new chapter of our little life but I’m so glad that I get to do it with Jesus and I know he is going to continue to show me the little beautiful things in this flipping of the page to a unknown storyline that’s being written!

I used to be under the impression that God would never give me more than I could handle; but I’ve now realized how that doesn’t give me to the opportunity to grow in trusting God!

Sometimes your life circumstances are not what you planned and can feel like burdens and yet this is the time to lean into God, communing in prayer conversations with him. Cause we need him for our strength and to walk through times of difficulty!

He will give us more than we can handle on our own will but when this happens it’s His kindness that’s leading us to freedom and breakthrough if we go tohim.

I’ve personally walked this again and again in my own journey; so if there’s something that feels like too much to handle; remember you were never meant to figure it out all by yourself. God cares so deeply for you!šŸ’›

Now cooking for two can make cooking just another task but I’ve found that making Sunday night a meal prep night, having pre chopped veg in the fridge, chicken pre roasted and off the bone; plus some meals that are made and ready to be used as lunches and dinners is so helpful!

If you take a little extra time, put on your favorite show, podcast, or audio book; then you can be set for the week with good food for your mind and body! Do what you can to add fiber (beans), or some different seeds, and herbs to add variety to your meals which adds a diversity to the nutrients that you consume!

Buy things in tins or get frozen veg and berries! If your budget is small then just do what you can and the little things will make a big difference.šŸ’›

25.09.2026 marks the day of our last day in our newly wed home and now into a season of a new space! It’s bittersweet, I’m happy to move on but will treasure every memory made.
Moving is a lot of work but it’s all apart of this little adventure of life😊

like a lot of you I love to live simply, enjoy life and make nourishing food but still be conscious of the cost.

And so I’ve made this pasta bake using chicken liver instead of mince which is $4-8/kg whereas beef mince is 12-24$/kg depending on how lean you buy it. I appreciate that I can still have an iron rich meal by using the liver and have it taste similar to a regular mince pasta bake!

Well here we go! Moving is a lot for anyone and I need to be honest that even tho the space we are about to live in is beautiful, it’s hard for me to know I can’t make the space our home.
Transitions are apart of life, whether moving house, entering a new season, or leaving the routine and comfort you used to know. But transition helps us to grow and I know that this next bit of time will definitely be growing for me.

Also as you can tell one of the best gifts I’ve ever received is my nutribullet with three attachments! @nutribulletaus
I definitely recommend getting the food processor, family size blender, and small blender! We got ours as an engagement gift so it great for your registry:)

let me tell you about a man named Jesus who loves you SO much that he died for you! There is no other god that cares so much about you that he was willing to give up his life so that you can experience freedom and peace today, on this earth. He is jealous for your attention! He doesn’t ask for perfection but for you to come as you are, to accept His free gift of salvation, to believe that He died for you and to repent of your sins and follow Him!

It’s an opportunity to fully be known by a loving God, not what society tries to say is ā€œgodā€ but by a real living God who longs to spend time with you and to show his great love for your life and your heart!

I have experienced his freedom and I want you to know that you can have that too

God called me to live a simply life and to live with less so that I can give more into His kingdom by serving him. I’ve experienced his goodness and provision; I cannot help but to also share about him in this little life of simplicityšŸ’›

Sometimes the simple weekly things don’t need to be extravagant; just make sure you do something every week that you love and appreciate the moment.šŸ«¶šŸ½

As an active girlie I’m always trying to make meals that have good nutrition while being as inexpensive as possible and these definitely hit the mark! I think it’s even more cost effective than my original oat recipe.

I love that you can add carrot, apple, chocolate, blueberries or any micro nutrient item to elevate these classic protein pancakes! I add a dash of oats and flax for extra diversity of fiber and nutrition like the omega-3 from the flax.

Let me know if you try them!ā˜ŗļø

Ingredients (sorry only have it weighed out since I live in Aus now and barely use cups and teaspoons)

-40g flour of choice
-5g oats
-5g flax
-scoop protein powder (I use plain pea protein)
-30/40g yogurt
-20g carrot/apple, bluebs, whatever you want
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-shake of cinnamon
-water and stir till batter consistency
-1 tsp baking powder

Method
1. Mix the flour, oat, flax, protein, yogurt, vanilla, and cinnamon.
2. Add your water till batter consistency and set for two minutes.
3. Pre heat your pan on medium-low and keep it low to help the pancakes from sticking!
4. Then add your baking powder to the batter and make 6 small pancakes.
5. Flip your pancakes with them start to get cooked around the edges and it starts to bubble at the top.
6. Top with whatever you fancy!:)
