Still pinching myself… 🖤✨
Cover girl for Vet Candy & WVC Vegas 2026?!

Behind this photo is so much more than a “moment”…
it’s long days, late nights, mom life, business decisions, showing up for my patients, and having faith even when things feel heavy.

Being a single mama, a veterinarian, and an entrepreneur isn’t always balanced… it’s messy, it’s exhausting, it’s beautiful… and it’s mine. And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I’ve learned I don’t have to do it all perfectly… I just have to stay aligned, keep going, and trust that what’s meant for me will find me.

The truth is — none of this happens alone.
It takes a village… and I am so incredibly blessed and surrounded by mine. 🤍

So beyond grateful, so honored, and so humbled to be selected as a Vet Candy ambassador for WVC Vegas 2026. 🙏

Proof that you can build a life and career that fits you…
with a little grit, a lot of heart, and unwavering faith. ✨

Vegas… I’m coming for you baby! 🖤

Check out their September issue that covers everything a pet parent needs to know. It’s absolutely PUURFECT!✨✨✨

Credit to my fur babies, Georgina (aka: Gigi) and Gelato who made the cover feature. In their young 2 years of life, they have already given me a lifetime of unconditional love. They truly are the best and have saved me in more ways I could ever imagine. Proud fur mama moment!🥰🥹🤍

✨The pathway in becoming a CEO of a company is not an easy road to take.

✨It takes time… it needs vision… it needs your confidence.

✨For all the “No’s” I heard, my YES is what counts.

✨What may sound like a crazy and far-fetched idea… it probably is…. so ACT ON IT!

✨Most of all, surround yourself with people that genuinely support and care about you and not just the idea of you.

My mom. ❤️

The woman who has always been there for me, loved me unconditionally, and helped shape the woman I am today.

And now, it’s my turn to create beautiful memories with her. ❤️

For the first time in her life, my mom traveled outside the United States! And what made it even more special? Sharing this experience with my daughter, Elisabetta, on her very first international adventure, too! 🥹✈️🌴

Three generations. Three beautiful souls. One unforgettable adventure. ❤️

My mom has spent so much of her life putting family first. Seeing her smile, laugh, relax, and experience something completely new filled my heart with so much joy.

But what made this trip truly magical wasn’t just the destination. It was watching my mom experience it not only as a mother, but as a grandmother.

Seeing the unconditional love, protection, patience, and joy she pours into Elisabetta is something I’ll forever cherish. Watching their beautiful bond and knowing my little girl gets to experience the same love that has carried me throughout my life… PRICELESS. 🥹❤️

Our time in Cancun at the beautiful Hyatt Ziva was magical, but the greatest gift wasn’t the resort, beaches, or breathtaking views.

It was being together. Three generations of women making memories that no amount of money could ever replace.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that life’s greatest blessings aren’t things. They’re moments, experiences, and the people we love.

This trip reminded me that it’s NEVER too late to experience something for the first time. To see the world, laugh a little harder, and embrace all the beauty God has given us.

So take the trip. Bring your parents. Bring your children. Make the memories. Because time together is truly one of life’s greatest gifts.

Mom, seeing you so happy was one of my favorite parts of this adventure. And sharing this beautiful first with you and Elisabetta made it even sweeter.

This is only the beginning. God willing, many more adventures and memories await us. ❤️

Your dog’s back said, “I need a spa day.” 💅🐶✨

@vetiquechicago , I may bring out the needles + electricity ⚡️🪡 for electroacupuncture…but there are things YOU can do at home between treatments too. 👏🏼

Meet two of my favorite little back + hip besties: BL-39 + BL-40. 💕🐾

📍 Both live around the crease behind the knee.
✨ BL-40: toward the center of the popliteal crease
✨ BL-39: just lateral/outside of BL-40

In Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, these points are commonly used as part of treatment plans for caudal back/hip discomfort, hindlimb issues and muscle tension, with urinary concerns such as dribbling/incontinence also among their traditional indications.

And the best part? You don’t need acupuncture needles at home. 🙌🏼

Use your fingers to gently massage/acupress the area for approximately 30–60 seconds on each side, as tolerated. You can incorporate it into your pup’s and kitties daily cuddle/massage routine. 💆‍♀️🐶

Especially for my long-backed little 🌭 babies, senior kiddos, arthritic fur babies, and patients dealing with back or hip issues — supportive integrative care can be a beautiful addition to their overall treatment plan. 💕🩺

Acupuncture @vetiquechicago + acupressure at home = TEAMWORK, BABY. ⚡️🤝🐾

Acupressure is supportive care and isn’t a replacement for veterinary evaluation or treatment…especially with new back pain, weakness, inability to walk, or urinary changes.

Save this one for your pets next massage session. 📌💕

A little late on my WVC recap because apparently attending the conference was easier than editing all the content I brought home 😂🎥✈️

But THIS was one of my favorite questions to ask:

✨ What innovation did you discover at WVC that you’re actually taking back to your hospital?

And the answer across generations of veterinarians was LOUD:

🤖 AI. AI. And more AI.

From AI-powered medical notes and software like Shepherd 💻 to voice recording for phone calls 🎙️, faster in-house bloodwork 🩸, anesthesia equipment + maintenance 🫁, and technology designed to make our hospitals run smarter—not harder.

But my favorite answer might have been the simplest one:

🤝 Making connections and learning from colleagues.

Because innovation isn’t just the newest machine or software.

It’s finding ways to practice better medicine, create more efficient teams, save TIME ⏰ and maybe (just maybe) give veterinary professionals a little more of their lives back. 🙌🏼

And watching veterinarians who have practiced for decades get just as excited about AI as the newer generation?! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The future of veterinary medicine is HERE. 🤖🩺✨
And if technology can give me fewer hours charting and more hours actually living… sign me ALL the way up. 😂💻🍷

WVC, you gave us a lot to take home. 💕🐾

POV: WVC by day… Nashville took over by night. 🤠🎶✨

Blanco Brown, Uncle Kracker + Gretchen Wilson, a whole lotta dancing, and the BEST crew to get a little country with. 💃🏽👢

Line dancing? Tried it.
Country dancing? Did it.
Voice tomorrow? Questionable. 😂

Just good music, great friends, and one unforgettable Nashville night. 🍭🤎

WVC Nashville, you understood the assignment. 🎶✨

DAY 3 = A WRAP 🤠🍭

Cows. Horses. Robot dogs. Book signings. New friends. Old friends. SO many conversations. 😂

But my favorite part? Hearing what everyone discovered, what impressed them, and what they’re taking back to their hospitals. 🩺✨

WVC Nashville, you’ve been one heck of a ride. Innovation Hunter had a BLAST. 🎤🔎🍭

📍🐾 INNOVATION HUNTING FIND: Because apparently our pets have entered their “share my location” era. 😂

GPS tracking for your dog or cat…because escape artists deserve technology too. 👀🐶🐱

Tanya gave me the scoop and pet parents… this is freaking cool. 🍭✨

POV: Eye drops just got a whole lot less dramatic. 👁️😂🐾

Another Innovation Hunter find 🍭🔎 — OASIS VetShield Collagen Corneal Shield.

Think dissolvable contact lens for pets that protects + lubricates the cornea while gradually dissolving …with options lasting up to 72 hours. 🤯

Translation: less wrestling over those eye meds, more hands-off healing. 🙌

Travis from OASIS gave me the scoop, and this one had me saying… BRILLIANT. 👏👁️✨

🔎✨ INNOVATION HUNT: FRESH FOOD JUST GOT A SCIENCE GLOW-UP. 🥕🐾

Hill’s is officially stepping into the refrigerated fresh food game …and of course, they brought the science with them. 👩‍🔬😉

I caught up with Dr. Caitlin Getty, board-certified veterinary nutritionist, to get the scoop on Hill’s new single-protein fresh diets:

🥩 Beef + Carrots
🍗 Chicken + Brown Rice
🐑 Lamb + Pumpkin

Pet parents have been asking for FRESH… and Hill’s said, okayyy, but let’s make it nutritionist approved. 😏👏

Refrigerated. Fresh. Simple proteins. Backed by veterinary nutrition science.

Because apparently even pet food is getting a glow-up. 💁‍♀️🐶

Innovation Hunter approved. 🔎🍽️✨

And apparently… Jeopardy champion can now go on my résumé. 😂🏆

Spent the entire day on the exhibit floor talking, learning, laughing, and asking the big question: What’s next for veterinary medicine?

30+ camera-roll moments later… I’m having WAY too much fun. 😂

WVC Nashville, you’ve been good to me. 🤠🩺✨
