You’re about to lose the fight. You just don’t know it yet.

In a street confrontation, avoid the fight at all costs. De-escalate if you can. You don’t know that person’s background, their intentions, or what they’re carrying. Be the bigger person and be ready to walk away.

But if all else fails, be prepared to finish the fight.

Technique matters. But the mindset and situational awareness to make the right call before things go sideways, that’s what separates the trained from the lucky (or not so lucky).

Try a group class at @360selfdefenseacademy or send me a DM to setup a 1-on-1 private lesson.

Self defense training can be intimidating at first.

It can also be a A LOT of fun! Try something new that moves you outside of your comfort zone 💪

Look at these mothers of Venice holding it down! 👀

Learn the basics of fighting on the ground. Intro bjj (no gi) every Tuesday at 8pm, right after boxing at 7pm! We’re growing strong 💪

Last night we covered a basic takedown, sweep, armlock variations, and maintaining top mount positions. Fight IQ going👆

Thank you @richard_bresler for your years of knowledge, wisdom, and friendship.

Thank you @360selfdefenseacademy for giving all of us a home and inviting me to start the 360 journey with you brother.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a seminar. Had a blast at @gracielagunahills with @daniellekellybjj - I forgot how fun these things are. Need to do them more often! by @jesseislil
