Comic-Con 2025. Chillest Hall H year ever—no Marvel panel, no overnight campout. Cosplayed as No Face and Han Solo. Hung with my Hall H fam and caught some epic moments: THE @markhamill repping The Long Walk by Steven King, Greta Lee & @thejeffbridges releasing the first 15 min of Tron: Ares, the Predator: Badlands panel with @thatkevinsmith and @dannytrs (wild that he went from lining up in Hall H to running a Predator project in just 7 years). Also spotted a 12-foot Galactus that was by far the best cosplayer I’ve seen in years. by @jesskah

Such a cool life experience to have been invited to speak at The White House’s Conference on Women’s Health Research, hosted by @flotus Dr. Jill Biden and @potus Joe Biden. The @whitehouse convened an incredible group of people across industry, academia, policy and non-profits to talk about the future of women’s health. On our panel about the business of investing in women’s health, I talked about how women’s health is surprisingly underhyped given its market size: half of humanity. Women’s health is a market that hides in plain sight, in the blind spot of VC demographics. People invest in what they know, and since venture is 17% women, the category has been historically underfunded. We need more founders and first believers to move money, shift power, and change culture (h/t @allraiseorg). When pioneering founders build enormous businesses in these “blind spot” categories, that success breeds more success. @mavenclinic was founded by @kentuckychang 10 years ago and today is the largest virtual clinic for women’s and family health, spanning maternity, fertility, pediatrics, parenting, and menopause. It’s an employee benefit used by half the Fortune 15, including Amazon, Google, JP Morgan, Microsoft, and UnitedHealth Group. It helps moms, dads, and kids across America. Proud to be a @mavenclinic board member, alongside @hollsmaloney, and to celebrate Kate’s success at the White House. Also got to share the term “millenopause” with the First Lady and made her laugh. Comic-Con 2024 was an epic three days of cosplay, collectibles, and camping out for Hall H line fam. My and @timtimtimt’s Dune cosplay was my favorite of any costume I’ve ever done, though dragging a 15 ft long, 5 lb train through the con inconvenient. But the sandworm cosplayer had us beat. Marvel panel was awesome, especially when they unveiled @robertdowneyjr is back as Dr. Doom. Totally worth the 36 hours camping out and the sleepover! by @jesskah
