POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

All that we need to have in common is simply that we ain't normal.

True normality is so rare, that it simply isn't normal.

If there would be such a thing as normal people, they would be a minority, and therefore automatically no longer normal.

You are not normal.
It would be weird, if there wasn't anything even a tiny bit weird about you.

Perhaps on a physical level, one foot bigger than the other? One toe too many? Or one missing perhaps? Weird this, weird that... maybe it's your nose.

Or on a personal level... everyone has a story. Everyone got into shit, whether deep or less deep, all shit is shit.
Everyone has dreams, thoughts and fantasies. Everyone has abnormalities on every level.

But hey, have you ever considered that on an ultimate level, nothing is normal? The axiomatic idea of existince in and of itself is far from 'normal'. Existence really didn't have to exist, but it did anyway 🤷🏾‍♂️ WTF, right?

Normal really is an escape. Don't escape. Embrace not being normal. It's what connects us. You and me.

Well, there you have it. I hope you never have a normal day again.

Festivals can take many forms, each offering something special ✨️ At Avalon Dance Odyssey, we choose to bring our focus to one thing: the depth and beauty of the dance journey.
💃

We want to create a space where people can truly arrive, feel part of the group, and explore what becomes possible when we give ourselves fully to the dance. Every workshop, soundscape and shared moment is thoughtfully chosen to support that journey 🌱

With a gathering of up to 300 people, we have the space to grow together, connect more deeply and experience the unfolding of a shared journey 🤍

Swipe through to discover the vision behind Avalon Dance Odyssey, and join us from June 17 till 21, in Glastonbury, UK. taken in Glastonbury, Somerset, United Kingdom by @jethroobadja

✨INTRODUCING✨Stalia Nikolaou✨

Beautiful dancers, due to some very unfortunate last minute personal circumstances, @imayasabine is no longer able to attend this year 🙏🏼

However, the stars aligned in just the right moment and God sent us this absolute power woman to come and deliver her Tribal Bellydance Fusion Journey… 🤩

Introducing @stalia_nicolaou ❤️‍🔥

Stalia Nikolaou is a professional performer and dance instructor based in Cyprus, devoted to Tribal Fusion Belly Dance since 2013. Trained with leading international teachers, her work weaves together strength, femininity, freedom, and authentic expression. For Stalia, dance is more than movement, it is a transformative journey back to yourself.

In this deep Movement Journey, we’ll awaken the body through four powerful archetypes: the Tree, the Snake, the Warrior, and finally… the Dance of YOU. 🌳🐍🔥

Through music, free movement, and Tribal Fusion techniques, we’ll explore our inner landscapes and allow the body to become the storyteller - moving beyond technique into freedom, feeling, and raw expression.

We are so excited for this beautiful workshop. Gratitude for this amazing alignment, & we send our love and support to our dear Imaya ❤️ taken in Val's Place by @jethroobadja

Behold... The Aftermovie 2026!

It feels like a lifetime ago already... but watching this shows just how much was felt and experienced.

We’ve just passed the autumn equinox, and this video takes us straight back to the very beginning of summer, to those long days on the land of Avalon, when we gathered and created something truly special together.

What an incredible field we created. A space where we could express ourselves so fully, move so freely, connect so deeply, and simply be.

The land of Avalon held us so gracefully. It gave us the space for so much magic, play, depth and discovery. And even now, months later, it only takes a few minutes of watching these images to travel right back there and bathe in the afterglow.

Beautifully captured by @samuelgeorgephotofilm ❤️

And the beautiful thing is, it’s not over :)

Tickets for Avalon Dance Odyssey 2027 are still in the first phase.

We can’t wait to return to these sacred lands and do it all again. A completely new adventure, waiting to unfold.

See you in Avalon. 🌿 by @jethroobadja
