Big big night down in the smoke
@thestrokes / @theo2london

Monster drive down and back on the same night, no booze, game of bowling, 15minute dinner. well worth the trip. Full of joy.

24 years since I first saw them play live as a 16 year old.

Loved noticing that the crowd was predominately younger than me. The strokes have transcended a generation.

Nick V missed at points but guitar interplay was killer.

After all these years I finally got to visit @paradisoadam to see @bandofhorses celebrating 20 years of ‘Everything All The Time’. Such a great show

Found a spot at the back so I could periodically see the band through the giant Dutch crowd.

Flew out to Groningen last to catch up with @katherinepriddy ahead of her headline show…

And @georgeboomsma of course!

Incredible show once again that included a standing ovation at the end…

KP & GB moved onto Hamburg so I stayed for another day. Beautiful city to walk around…

Seeeeee! Beautiful…

I ordered a quick drink before the football. I tapped the pint glass and asked for the bill. He misunderstood me and bought me another…

I struck up a conversation at the bar and was invited to join the secret order of the fabulous half buenos…

Got my dates wrong. Thought Ajax were at home. It’s international break so 6th tier @bequick1887 it was

@bequick1887 won the Dutch league in 1920 so some cool history here

Perfect team goal. The crowd go wild!

They win 5 v 0. Jealous of the dog

Heading to see @jalen_ngonda at @deoosterpoort and saw the poster for @esns.nl
Started thinking how cool it was that Jalen first played at @mostly_jazz in 2012 before preheadlining in 2025 and finally headlining in 2026. He was a headliner of tomorrow. Super cool

@jalen_ngonda just keeps getting better and better…

It was so nice to be able to watch a whole Jalen set with no skin in the game. Top of his game

Morning run and bye bye Groningen

See! Beautiful by @johnanthonyfell

ROTATE YOUR PHONE 🤝

Our Romanian Adventure in mini film form.

We headed to Teo’s homeland in May to celebrate our marriage.
With Teo living in Birmingham, it felt important to create a celebration for her Romanian family and celebrate her Romanian culture.
It was an absolute honour to welcome our UK friends over for a weekend in the depths of the Romanian countryside.
A mini festival captured by the wonderful @raulstansrn and hosted by our favourites Irina and Radu at @breb148

We both feel very lucky watching this back and realising we have so many great people around us

Buzzing to see @katherinepriddy nominated for ‘Best Live Performer’ at this year’s @aim_uk awards.

Winner will be announced at the award ceremony at @roundhouseldn on 22nd Sept.

Someone called Bjork won it in 2023 so that’s cool ✌️ by @johnanthonyfell

Testimonial from John & Teo’s Wedding 🎉👰🏽‍♀️🤵🏽🩷

I had an amazing time playing at @johnanthonyfell & @teodoramarginean ‘s beautiful wedding to their immensely welcoming and wonderful family and friends. My first time playing a wedding abroad in gorgeous sunny Romania 🇷🇴

Special thanks to @georgeboomsma & Sam Berry for impromptu accompanying me on lead guitar and drums. Two very skilled and adaptable musicians that I’m very thankful were able to make the set that much more special 🎸🎤🥁

Do you have an event you’d like to book a solo/duo/full band for? My DM’s are always open! 📥🔥

SUNDAY - @mostly_jazz
12.07.26

The final day of MJFS was possibly one of my favourite days to date. A day focused on soul with @daptonerecords artists @jalen_ngonda & @theesacredsouls taking the top spots. Both killed it.

We first booked Jalen in 2013 so to see him headline the stage was a real moment for us.

Joined by show stoppers @donwestmusic @ejthackray @quanticmusic @jamzsupernova plus many more! Great vibe.

Roll on 2027

This year we shifted the focus to contemporary with a nod to the legends. Saturday ended up with @jrakz @cymandeofficial @sampa_the_great @craigcharlesfunkandsoul @annieandthecaldwells @__gabriels__ (dj set) @horse_meat_disco @falle_nioke plus more.

We celebrated another year of partnering with @bmusic_ltd on providing opportunities for emerging talent once again.

Incredible day of music. Already v excited about 2027
