*BIG ol’ mention here. My powerhouse baby girl @katherinepriddy has sold out her Birmingham headline show at the Town Hall and it was the dogs boll*cks. With fantastic support from @wet_gus and his guitar.

Testimonial from John & Teo’s Wedding 🎉👰🏽‍♀️🤵🏽🩷

I had an amazing time playing at @johnanthonyfell & @teodoramarginean ‘s beautiful wedding to their immensely welcoming and wonderful family and friends. My first time playing a wedding abroad in gorgeous sunny Romania 🇷🇴

Special thanks to @georgeboomsma & Sam Berry for impromptu accompanying me on lead guitar and drums. Two very skilled and adaptable musicians that I’m very thankful were able to make the set that much more special 🎸🎤🥁

Do you have an event you’d like to book a solo/duo/full band for? My DM’s are always open! 📥🔥

Home from Mostly Jazz and my heart is properly full. Yes it’s work, yes it was a heatwave weekend, and yes I turned up tired and a bit broken after a heavy June but I’m back fully restored and, not going to lie, on a bit of a high.
The reason? My team. I’m always the one holding space for them, but they hold it right back for me too, and that goes a long way.
Mostly Jazz is non-camping, so staying in the van offsite has its fiddly bits, but the trade off is worth it for quiet nights, no booming bass shaking the van at 2am. Beautifully produced, brilliant line up every year, tucked in a private park in the prettiest village, with everything you need just outside the gates if you need to step away for a bit. And the crew, genuinely, hand on heart, some of the loveliest people I get to work with.
Family, that’s what it felt like. John, Carl, Geeves, Shan, Lara, Amy, Rachel, Fiona, and the film and photo crew Chris, Jim thank you. Anyone I’ve missed, you know who you are. And @sbcurryclub forever keeping me fed with the finest cauliflower going.
This is what restoring looks like when you’re running on fumes good people, incredible music, work that fills your soul, and a bit of room to breathe in between.

Such an honour to do some healing work on some incredible artists backstage this year too. Big ta mates to @donwestmusic band for the Aussie chats you’ve had me sounding Aussie again and reminding myself I’m long overdue a trip to Sydney. And @theesacredsouls you are all indeed sacred souls on and off stage.

See you all at @moseleyfolkfestival

If your June left you feeling the same tired, stretched, running on empty get yourself booked in for a massage with me between festivals, or drop me a message and tell me what festival you’re at this summer.

♥️ ALL THE LOVE ❤️

Well what can we say. Now we’ve had a chance to come down from Saturday’s celebrations, we just wanted to say a humongous THANK YOU. To the amazing bands and DJs that gave up their time and immense talent for the cause. To @burtbacharackhams for smashing it as our host for the day. To the @hareandhoundsbrum for being the best venue around. To @pull3ncountb13 for being the raffle master and everyone that donated a prize or three!

Most of all though to YOU GUYS. You packed the place out and showed the love in the process helping raise almost 2K for @bham_childrens ♥️

We couldn’t have wished for a better way to celebrate 20 years of doing our thing. See y’all soon.

BIG love,

SFB
