Two identical videos hey? 🤔

No nets or goalies were harmed in the filming of my game… Just my neck. 🙃🙃🙃

I wish I could’ve played this sport when I was younger! 🥳🙏🏼🥰

In 12 weeks I’ve done 21 sessions on the ice and accumulated 25hrs!

I’ve trained with 3 different Clubs until I settled on
my team!

I’ve done 3 Ice Skating only sessions,

I’ve done 6 Learn to play sessions,

I’ve played one Scrim,

I’ve played one game and won (with a few cheeky assists) with my team.

If this is 3 months, I can’t wait to look back in a year and see how far I’ve come, but honestly it’s so much fun to #beabeginner at something again, especially as an adult when many people are stuck in their ways and won’t try anything new!

The ice hockey community in Perth, Australia and Worldwide is so welcoming and awesome and I’m certainly grateful to be a part of it! 🙏🏼💙🤝🏼

“You mean like this?” As the kid born in 2020 sprays snow in my face and checks me into the boards. ⛸️⛸️🫠🤣😆

*Hattys are dependant on skill level 😅

Huge shoutout to @sickmittshockey for hooking me up with a bunch of grips which will not only save time, tape and my gloves but also look absolutely awesome! 🔥

Check them out and I can’t wait to give these a whirl on Thursday! 🧊🏒

It’s been an epic journey thus far, so grateful for the friends I’ve made, the teams I’m on and the growth I’ve experienced! God this sport is awesome! #hockeyislife

When I first started I could only dream of being able to stop, skate, stay on my feet and score! It’s never too late to start something and to #beabeginner 💪🏼🥳

I post videos daily about this journey and everything hockey (and training + music), follow along to see how I progress and to have a laugh along the way! 🤝🏼

Big love! - JP! 💪🏼💙

Just got back from Bali, it’s amazing how much ice hockey you can fit into a humid beach island holiday when you really try! 🤣
