Before, during and after.

Very belated 40th celebrations and grateful for my people and family 🖤🖤 by @vanessabarry_

I had the honour of creating the dress my bestie would walk down the aisle in... Every stitch was sewn with love, every detail stitched with memories to last a lifetime.

Vanessa, watching you step into the next chapter with the love of your life, wearing something made with my whole heart is a moment I’ll cherish forever.

You’ve been the kind of friend people dream of… loyal, funny and full of light. I’m so happy to see you have the love you truly deserve. And thank you @johniepee for looking after my VB now VP ❤️

Thank you for the beautiful photos @octaviaweddings by @vanessabarry_

Is this real life? 🥰 by @vanessabarry_

Wow! We’ve come a long way!

I’m so glad social media wasn’t around when we were between the ages of 10 and 18! 😆 Can you imagine the photos and videos?!

I’m so proud of the woman you’ve become and all the trials and tribulations you’ve overcome along the way. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be, and I can’t wait to see what you do next.

Here’s to our next 40 years of memories, laughter and adventures! 🥂

Love you, cousin ❤️ by @vanessabarry_

Skin health is something that’s so easy to put off… until it isn’t.

We recently had the privilege of trying Vardyn Perth and experiencing the first technology of its kind in WA.

Using 92 high-resolution cameras, the system captures your entire skin surface in under a second, with no UV light or radiation, creating a complete digital map of your skin.

Every visible mole and lesion is measured and documented, establishing a baseline that can be precisely compared over time. This means changes can be identified and tracked much more easily, taking a proactive approach to early detection rather than simply relying on memory or individual photos.

For us, it was such a simple process for something that can play such an important role in looking after your health.

We’re both really glad we did it and now we have our baseline established for the future. 🤍

The plan changed many times but the journey was worth it. Cannot believe my life right now.
Blessed beyond words. ❤️

Happy 40th Birthday to my VB. Some people come into your life and simply make it better and you’ve been that person for me. Through every high, every challenge, every laugh until we cried, every save the last dance and every moment in between, you’ve been there and I’m so lucky and blessed.

Thank you for being the kind of friend everyone wishes they had.

Here’s to 40 years of VB/VP. You should be very proud of yourself and everything you’ve overcome, accomplished and what’s ahead.

Love you to bits xxx

P.S 40 never looked so good!!!! 😍 by @vanessabarry_

Another year with the best human. ❤️
Those who know John, you won’t die of old age, you’ll die of laughter. Thank you for always bringing the joy to everyone’s lives.

You’ll have the best birthday…because it’s mostly with me 💅🏽 by @vanessabarry_

A few of my favourite things…

Finding a new cottage down south with @johniepee exploring the fields, petting animals, long walks, long talks, good food, random taverns, cozy nights filled with games, dancing and laughs. 🖤🖤
