Walking Through Biblical History — Ephesus, Turkey 🇹🇷

Incredible to walk the ancient streets where the Apostle Paul preached and ministered for nearly three years (Acts 19).

Church tradition tells us that the Apostles John and Timothy also served as pastors here.

Nearly 2,000 years later, these ancient ruins remind us of the powerful impact of the early church.

🇪🇬 3,300 Years of History at the Grand Egyptian Museum!

From Ramesses II, who ruled Egypt for 66 years and lived during the era often associated with Moses, to King Tut, who became pharaoh at just 9 years old!

Ramesses built massive monuments to be remembered. King Tut ruled only 10 years, yet became the world’s most famous pharaoh!

Overwhelming and dreamlike to roam the pyramids. An emotionally powerful experience!

When Moses walked by these pyramids, they were already 1000 years old - and he likely visited them as a fascinated tourist.

Cleopatria lived closer to the invention of the iphone 📱 than the pyramids.

The pyramids were NOT built by slaves, as the nearby workers village showed well fed workers who lived long, and some were even allowed to be buried in proximity to this holy site.

We’ve begun! 🫒

The first phase of construction is underway at Rancho Olivos Community Center a step toward creating a place of welcome, connection, and opportunity for migrant and indigenous families in Baja.

We’re grateful for the donations beginning to come in and for the people helping this vision take shape. There’s still significant work ahead, but these early steps give us so much hope.

BIG NEWS—WE’RE IN! 🌵🏡

Baja Bound has officially taken possession of Rancho Olivos!

After years of dreaming, praying and searching, this abandoned farmhouse will begin its transformation into a place where families are welcomed, children are fed, medical clinics are offered and job skills are taught.

We still have work ahead—including completing the process toward full legal title—but this is a huge step forward.

Today, we’re simply celebrating and inviting you to follow the journey as this dream becomes reality.

Welcome to Rancho Olivos. This is only the beginning!

A historic day for Baja Bound! 🌵= 🫒?

After years of praying, planning, and persevering, Baja Bound has officially taken legal possession of Rancho Olivos!

For nearly 25 years, this abandoned olive ranch has been waiting for a new purpose. Our vision is to transform it into the Rancho Olivos Community Center—a place where local families can receive food, medical care, job training, encouragement, and hope. It will also provide much-needed lodging and offices for the Baja Bound team.

There is a tremendous amount of work ahead, but today we celebrate what God has already done—and look forward with faith to what He will do next.

This is only the beginning. Follow along, pray with us, and help us bring Rancho Olivos back to life!

Fourteen months ago… this club didn’t exist.

Jake was just 24 years old.

After a series of difficult circumstances caused the previous water polo club to dissolve, a courageous group of parents believed in a young coach enough to say:

“We’ll follow you.”

They weren’t chasing trophies.

They were building something bigger.

A culture.

A family.

A team.

A new water polo club.

Yesterday, only 14 months later, those same young men stood on the podium as Junior Olympic Champions in their division.

But the picture that will stay with me forever isn’t the medal…

It’s what happened after the final whistle.

The parents didn’t just applaud from the stands.

They jumped into the pool.

Because every one of them knew this championship belonged to all of us.

To the players who sacrificed.

To the coaches who poured into them.

To the parents who trusted a vision.

To the families who drove countless miles, packed coolers, paid hotel bills, and cheered until they lost their voices.

The trophy says they won…the parents jumping into the pool tells you how they did it.
