POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This month I was recognized as a recipient of the Inaugural Rising Star Award by the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants at our 2nd Annual Ledgers and Legends Ball. I am honored to receive this prestigious award recognizing CPAs age 40 and under who demonstrate outstanding leadership and active engagement with the LCPA, the accounting profession, and/or their communities.

As a CPA of almost 11 years and a firm owner of almost 10 years, I can truly say that choosing this career path has been one of my greatest choices. Every day I receive the opportunity to make real impact through my service to clients and my community. I’ve always told people that accountants are superheroes because we can do anything, but as a young CPA and entrepreneur you sometimes wonder if you are doing enough.

Thanks to the LCPA for recognizing me with this year’s award! Also, thanks to all my friends, family, and colleagues who were able to come out and celebrate myself and all the other honorees. I look forward to many more years serving the profession as we continue providing trusted, quality, and meaningful work now and for generations to come! #LCPA #AICPA #CPA #JRobinsCPA #Accountant taken in The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans by @jrobins__

Completed my 1st Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race 10K this morning! The course was hot, humid, and hilly, but we got it done! Birthday on Monday so why not celebrate with something I love doing! Bitter sweet that this was my last race in the 30-34 age bracket though. Lately i’ve been enjoying long runs with no music and riding in my truck in silence. Am I Unc now? Have I been Unc? 😰😢…. Ehhh enjoy y’all weekend! Celebrating another Medal Monday today! 🥇 This weekend I completed my 7th Full Marathon at the Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon and MiniMarathon Race Weekend! 🏃🏽‍♂️ 🏃🏾‍♀️ Had a great time running through the city of Louisville and Churchill Downs, home to the Kentucky Derby! 🐎🐎 S/O to the bruhz who work at Adidas and somehow got these shoes approved as a standard colorway! They made their race debut on the eve of my 13th Queversary 🤗😆! Still got some work to do and many more start and finish lines to cross! Let’s keep moving! @kyderbyfestival @runkrewe @adidas #SmokinJoe #Marathon #RunKrewe #TheFellas #BMR by @jrobins__

First race of 2026 in the books! Registered for this one on Thursday just to test the elements and have an uptempo training run🤷🏽‍♂️
.
This was my first time competing in the 10K portion of the Mambo. I normally do the 15K but didn’t want to be out in this kind of weather for that long! 🥶 Even with sub freezing temperatures and 15+ mph wind gusts I ended up placing 1st in my age group 😅!
.
What better way to cap off a lackluster month of running and motivate myself to get back in the lab! Entering in a new age bracket come July, gotta get ready! The horses are coming! 😤🫣#MardiGrasMambo #10K #LouisianaRunning #MardiGras #BatonRouge by @jrobins__

Today is Medal Monday, and as I get ready to head back home I have to give a few S/O’s!
.
First to the City of New York, @nycmarathon , and @nyrr !! Completing my first New York City Marathon and World Major Marathon was an experience i’ll never forget! I made it a point to participate in “all the things” leading up to race day and every experience delivered! Runners, if you EVER want to feel like a celebrity for a few days, participate in the NYC marathon! It was amazing to see how much the city embraces this event and the love shown to the participants! So happy to be apart of the record breaking world’s largest marathon!
.
Second, I definitely have to S/O @mastercard for making this whole thing happen! You really rolled out the red carpet and the associates who helped ensure everything went smooth deserve an award! Being able to be some of the first runners on the course and the star of the show for thousands of people was phenomenal! Even got a chance to connect with fellow contest winner @allthingsjanuary ! Thank you once again for selecting me as a winner in the #mastercardmarathoncontest , it was definitely a priceless experience!
.
Last but certainly not least I have to S/O my amazing wife @shorty_swerve for traveling across the country with me, participating in all the events, searching throughout New York to find a poster to make a wonderful sign, and learning to navigate the subway system so I could see her on the route, TWICE! She’s really my number 1 fan and I can’t wait to support her as she takes on @louisianamarathon in January!
.
Until next time New York! 🫶🏽🍎

Well tomorrow is race day! In a little over 12 hours i’ll be taking the start line of the 2025 TCS NYC Marathon! This is kind of a full circle moment; New York was actually the first (and only) place I interned while in college. My experience working on Wall Street influenced me to pursue a career as a Financial Professional and work to promote sound financial stewardship in my community! Now 12 years later, I get the chance to run through all 5 boroughs, on the largest stage of the running world, on the biggest day in the city, wearing the logos of MY businesses @jrobinscpa and @officetwc !! Tomorrow will definitely be surreal but i’m ready! S/O to my guy @bronzedking with @runkrewe and my friends @printingsourcebr for getting these customs turned around for me in time! Y’all the real MVPs!! Now let’s go get this medal! 🏅🫡😤 @nycmarathon @nyrr #tcsnycmarathon #JRobinsCPA #TheWealthCollective #TheWealthCollectiveOffice #CPA #Accounting #Tax #Finance #WealthManagement #Marathon #Running taken in Central Park, New York by @jrobins__
