The 23-State Solution—yes, you heard that right—is about more than ending conflict. It’s about building lasting peace that gives Israelis security, Palestinians a state of their own, and the region a path toward normalization. by @jstreetdotorg

When criticism of Israel gets flattened into antisemitism, real antisemitism becomes harder to fight and push back against. Criticism of Israel’s government is not automatically antisemitic. by @jstreetdotorg

We are witnessing a dangerous moment. Despicable acts and statements of antisemitism and Islamophobia are surging. And too many leaders are responding not with moral clarity, but with extremism and scapegoating.

We’re seeing elected officials openly calling for the expulsion of Muslims from public life. Public officials like Vice President Vance, Senator Tuberville, and Rep. Randy Fine to name a few are declaring “Islamophobia is rational” and demanding bans, deportations and denaturalization.

That isn’t safety. It’s extremism. And it puts all of our communities at risk. by @jstreetdotorg

Our hearts are with journalist Heidi Levine, all those attacked, and all Palestinian families who endure unrelenting settler terror. This is a stain on the State of Israel for the world to see: Jewish supremacists terrorizing Palestinians while those charged with protecting them do nothing.

We cannot look away from what is being done in our name. by @jstreetdotorg

The signal is clear: insist too loudly on Palestinian humanity and your place in Jewish communal life can become conditional. by @jstreetdotorg

After an October 7 vigil in NYC was disrupted by counterprotesters, Israelis for Peace organizers @GiliGetz and Tamar Glezerman joined us on Word on the Street to reflect on why they chose to hold the vigil publicly, what it means to mourn the loss of both Israelis and Palestinian lives, and why they believe the gathering still succeeded.

The same values that compel us to pursue peace, equality, and security for Israelis and Palestinians demand that we protect those principles here at home.

From blocking independent election observers to threatening political opponents with deportation, President Trump’s actions raise serious questions about the health of our democracy. by @jstreetdotorg

One of the most dangerous things we can do is stop seeing the humanity in other people.

Even in moments of profound grief, fear, and trauma, we have to resist the pull toward collective blame and the idea that someone else’s suffering matters less.

We owe the victims remembrance. We owe the living a future. by @jstreetdotorg

One year ago, the ceasefire brought a moment of relief and the hope of something better for Israelis and Palestinians.

Today, that hope remains unfulfilled. Gaza’s families are still displaced, Palestinians are still being killed by strikes, and plans for reconstruction and a new Palestinian government remain stalled.

We cannot claim to stand for Israel’s future while looking away as its government denies Palestinians the possibility of one.

We cannot call for peace while excusing the leaders who stand in the way. by @jstreetdotorg

The ceasefire brought the release of the remaining living hostages and a surge of aid into Gaza. But a year later, the next phase remains stalled.

Our new video looks at what’s holding up reconstruction, Palestinian governance and an Israeli withdrawal – and the role the U.S. could play in what comes next. by @jstreetdotorg

Last night, our friends at @israelisforpeacenyc gathered to show what a different future can look like. They mourned the lives lost on October 7 while standing firmly for Palestinian freedom and dignity. They were met with protestors glorifying violence and supporting Hamas.

Dehumanizing Israeli victims does nothing to advance Palestinian freedom, and anyone who thinks glorifying terrorist violence is acceptable is fooling themselves. by @jstreetdotorg

Today, we mourn the 1,200 people murdered in Hamas’ attack, the hostages who died in captivity, and all those whose lives were forever changed.

We also grieve the tens of thousands of Palestinians killed in the war that followed and the devastation that millions in Gaza continue to endure.

We honor those lost by working toward a future where Israelis and Palestinians can live in freedom, safety and self-determination. by @jstreetdotorg
